12/4/2024 16:10 | I'd never heard of Storey before, or since! But that RNS certainly caused him to panic and sell! For all I know Storey may be an idiot. I base my investment decisions, rightly, or wrongly, solely on my charts. Of course the Met Coal price peaking in late spring at around $440 and subsequent decline, John henry, contributed to BEN's downfall, but purchaseatthetop reckoned that the Met Coal decline was not the major reason for the BEN sp's descent towards zero. purchaseatthetop reckoned that the sole use of HWM equipment was uneconomic even with a Met Coal price above $400, especially since BEN weren't getting anywhere near that price. I've no knowledge of coal mining so I have no idea whether that's right, or wrong. I did post a chart showing the Strongly Bearish "Death Cross" on the BEN chart in early summer of 2022. | papillon
12/4/2024 15:43 | Divmad, I know of Storey, enough said. Patt did the bizz, damn good research! | dudishes
12/4/2024 15:35 | Never heard of this Storey character before, pap. At the very least, he never went public on here before the absolute peak in sp, unlike PATT, with sound fundamental reasoning to boot. | divmad
12/4/2024 15:25 | Papillion what a absolute load of tripe. Follow Storey like into Chill LOL BENS downfall has ultimately been down to the MET Coal B something the company is not in control of. Yes there has been operational challenges but thats inherent with running a Mine. If Met coal B price was above $220 the company would be doing ok. | john henry
12/4/2024 15:09 | Storey saw it first. He had a big stake in BEN and profited handsomely. However he saw the writing on the wall back in late spring/early summer 2022 and dumped all of his share stake causing the BEN share price to plummet. The BEN share price has never recovered from the fall and has continued to decline. Storey sold after an RNS was released. An RNS that showed things weren't going the way that AW had promised. It pays to follow the lead of savvy investors like Storey! | papillon
12/4/2024 14:24 | I doff my cap to you, PATT, on this one.You saw it before anyone else did. | divmad

A famous accountant, er, car saleman in Torquay! | dudishes

12/4/2024 06:16 | It’s very simple now. There is a stock of maybe 50k clean tons There is maybe 10k tons ROM coal There is equipment, leases, permits, etc etc. All owned by Bens Creek Operations LLC Avani loans are now secured on all of that. Next step. CW at Operations LLC takes all the assets, sells the coal stock to repay their working capital loans and they have the mine. Ben’s creek Group PLC is dead AW is no longer there anyway. Him and Iqbal are busy at Freeland Anthracite which will be the next in a long line of Atlantic Carbon, Bens Creek, next Freeland Anthracite. | purchaseatthetop
