2/12/22 RNS stated: "Bens Creek Group plc (AIM:BEN), the owner of a metallurgical coal mine in North America supplying the steel industry, is pleased to announce that from 26 October 2022 to the end of November 2022, the Company has produced a total of 43,736 clean tonnes."

Lots of excitement. Ramping posters claiming this means 44k tons each and every month. I am not so sure.

Reading the RNS carefully (as you always must with Adam) I take this as being the production from the processing plant. They could easily have run the processing plant for a week and washed their pile of ROM coal resulting in the 43,736 tons clean. I was surprised that they did not have two figures like they always have before for tons mined, ROM and washed equivalent, and wondering why thought that this 2/12/22 RNS was a "production update" whereas the 7/11/22 RNS was a "mining update".

Despite the positive RNSs the share price will not shift. That is because nobody (expect seagreen) believes a word in them unless independently signed off by professionals. Which is why we all await the Interims.

Let’s remember that I predicted the last $6m placing a week before it happened as I did the cash calculations showing they were nearly out of money. They are exactly in the same position again. There have been no more trains than before and I understand they were shipping by truck due to lack of trains. Let’s see.

Roast PR freak show with the dyed hair coke monster presiding, followed by photoshopped image reminiscent of Soviet photos, now with RNS that offers no real information. Everything screams pump for placing.

Is that in writing or a phone call?I am not a twitter user but Craig P Blair appears to have a twitter account so someone could tweet the image to him, a member of staff etc to get a response. It needs validating one way or another and in writing otherwise aspersions are just being cast. It looks totally photoshopped to me.

Classic BEN RNS. It does not make it clear if the output is new clean tons mined or output from the processing plant. Also, what was the output from 1/9/22 to 26/10/22?
Why not give a full a proper update and not selected items that may mean nothing?

Answer…because they are trying to get a placing away. No point mining coal if you cannot sell it and there has been a gap in their output and also train shortages. Hence the Roast PR pump and now another RNS to try to drum up interest. If they had given coal sales figures via Integrity then that would matter….but guess what..they haven’t. So, this is released for a reason and that is they need cash. Just my view.

I don t think it's the one from the sales page at Bens Creek website. The jumper and shirt are quite new but more worn in the photoshopped image. Shirt collars are more raggedy and Adam has had a bit of USA sunshine colouring the face so taken a bit later I think. Have you pinged anyone at VW Capitol to verify its authenticity? Proof from the office in needed to put this to bed and raise the red flag.

Who let the binman in standing back right? Very odd how everybody but Mohammed and Adam have shinny foreheads and cheeks from bright lights. It is almost as if it is actually photoshopped*


* certainly is. Look at the brass rivet high right beside the flag. It shows blinding lights pointed downwards from the front. Everybody is reflecting those lights. Except Adam and Mohammed. This is the best ever! Even more fun than the second Highwall miner. Go BEN!

Also the bloke on the left seems to be giving the next one along a happy finish….
