Has anyone noticed that the charts on this thread are a bit weird? They don't always reflect actual share price movements

It is high, exceptionally high in current times; however, it does appear a solid bet given the difficult times now and ahead.

Doubtless, we will see some retracement as profits are taken periodically.

I'm keen to see any broker updates - it would be reasonable to expect them to significantly increase the price targets, which I believe currently sit at 150p and 160p.

Sprattyken, I agree. Should be interesting in October. The interims in January'09 are what I'm really looking towards.

Excellent sentiments piggy. It's about time those boo blue boys grew up, giving Miller a hard time. What's wrong with these people?

The next news is their quarterly "red flag" thingybob. Due in July sometime.

It's where they trawl the indicators to give a forward indication of insolvencies etc.

It's my view that the one in October will be an eye-popping publication.

In the meantime we might see an share price spike when this month's comes out?

I had hoped that if we were going to break out, it would have happened by now. After last weeks moderate results and the continually falling Market, I suspect that we may have found our limit for now; more to the point, there are exceptionally good value offerings elsewhere where despite strong fundamentals, the sp's have been hammered mercilessly.

Intend to sit tight for now, but won't be adding more unless we retrace significantly.

EP,

Beware what you're eating - just finished a Chris Ryan novel where the bad guys disposed of victims by passing them through an industrial wood chipper before feeding the remains to ravenous pigs like yourself!

Piggy....the spelling in the daily Ranger is just as bad as ever....don't they mean "their" in line 2? Then again, would anyone reading that rag know the difference? After all, Jim Traynor is still the fat bloke runing as sports editor. Runing, ha.

Yes, Tibbs on holiday.

I`m sure you heard it before but this article was in the above named newspaper , just thought i would post it

"Insolvency experts Begbies Traynor yesterday said the UK economic slump has seen there caseload shoot up by a third this year. The group dealt with 1300 corporate insolvencies to April 30 a 30 percent increase on last year.
Execytive chairman Ric Traynor said :"We think the number of corporate insolvencies will rise this year and next , peaking in 2010. If we are not technically in a recession, then we are close to it.Indications are not good , falling sales, rising interest rates a lack of confidence"
Traynor added that the property and construction, retail , transport and financial services were the hardest hit,
Begbies high profile insolvencies this year included buisness class only airline silverjet and investmentfund Carlyle Capital Corporation.
The firms share price has risen by around 60% in the last three months. Overall underlying profits for the year were £8.1 Million, compared with £10 million for the previous year , but the revenues were up £6.2 million to £48.1 Million
