I think share reaction is partly due to no further increase in the guidance. With a rapidly growing company with a recent history of upgrades, there is always a non-negligible chance that the next market update will also have another upgrade. When this does not happen there is naturally some disappointment.

This is getting into bargain territory now particularly if we continue to win big contracts on a regular basis.

Washing out the ridiculous valuations now. A long list of these but BKS up at 200p and folk piling in at above 160p....ooerr.

Had a little go here on this plunge down 17% with a stop at under 120p - trying for a quick oversold intraday technical bounce, nothing more at this stage.

The wider indices trends are still horrible but some are oversold now so a technical bounce will be due. On the whole though, if you look at something like the DAX, where is the bottom there?

Can't call that. Alot more time needed to find some support levels but watching them all closely for possible price points they keep pinging off.

Where is the eventual bottom in the wider indices and where it leaves the likes of BKS? We're all guessing (Russia, inflation, central bank actions), but ideally would want this well under 80p. Whether or not it gets there will depend on wider factors.

Overall, trading wise:

- Being nimble with any trades
- Using stops
- Careful of gaps overnight from the US and fluid Russian news
- Taking profits on trades quicker
- Taking losses/exiting quicker if bigger sellers pop up

But mostly, doing nothing and waiting for the indices to find a bottom. Doing nothing is what has worked. Trying to trade long this market is like walking in front of a train.

It is just a one way hammering.

Longer term folk, as per usual...value will appear on washouts and substantial markdowns like this as people start to give in.

All imo

Can't see any reason for this drop so added about 50% to my existing position. Interims should be next week or week after if they're to be at a similar time to last year and should be "ahead" again with all the Proximity Cloud business.

Surely this an absolute gift at this price, with lots of retail stops getting dinged.

Stock market is having kittens at the moment. I'm long here and will buy some more soon when funds clear regardless of price. Longer term this is an amazing entry point

I thought this share was tightly held so it was surprising that such a large number of buys at the full offer price of 165p didn't shift the share price further upwards.

$2m Proximity Cloud Win

Additional significant contract brings total value of Proximity Cloud contracts to over $5.2m since launch in August 2021

22 February 2022 - Beeks Financial Cloud Group is pleased to announce the signing of another multi-year contract for its recently launched Proximity Cloud offering. The 5 year contract, worth an initial $2m, is for a North American bank, secured via a partner. The value of this contract means that the Board anticipates revenue for the full year to be slightly ahead of the recently upwardly revised expectations, with the additional profits to be further invested into the offering in order to support the strong pipeline of opportunities ahead.

Gordon McArthur, CEO commented:"I am delighted to have signed another Proximity Cloud contract, underpinning the Board's strong belief in the value of the offering. We are attracting some of the world's leading financial services organisations and I am confident the investment we are making in additional features to Proximity Cloud, will see our pipeline continue to increase."

Paul Scott on Stockopedia today - “another contract win. This niche IT services company seems to be making excellent progress. It's won a £2.5m, 3 year contract extension with an existing client, to go into a new territory. Hence a record quarter for contract signings. When you look at the potential size of its markets, globally, this company could be a multibagger I reckon. BUT, it has to be seen as high risk, due to the market cap already looking expensive - worth it, for the growth potential, in my opinion”

More positive news for the proximity cloud service !

£2.5m Contract Extension with a Tier 1 customer

Beeks Financial Cloud Group, a cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets, is pleased to announce the signing of a £2.5mn contract extension over three years with an existing Tier 1 customer. The contract is for the provision of private cloud services into an additional geography. This follows the announcement last week of a $2.2m contract for the Group's Proximity Cloud, bringing the Total Contract Value of deals signed in the current quarter to over $6m - a record for the Group and evidence of the momentum behind Beek's specialist cloud offerings for financial markets.

Gordon McArthur, CEO of Beeks Financial Cloud commented: "We continue to secure notable contracts with some of the world's largest players in the financial services industry, demonstrating our growing reputation and the quality of our offerings. This latest contract contributes towards underpinning our FY23 expectations. With growing levels of committed future revenues and a record pipeline, we are confident in continued growth."

$2.2m Proximity Cloud Contract Win and Trading Update

Significant contract secured for recently launched offering, revenues for FY22 now expected to be ahead of current market expectations

2 February 2022 -- Beeks Financial Cloud Group is pleased to announce the signing of a $2.2m contract over four years for its recently launched Proximity Cloud offering, with one of the world's largest Foreign Exchange brokers. This is another significant contract for the offering which was launched in August last year and is a new customer for Beeks, adding to the Company's growing number of tier 1 financial services customers.

Beeks is positioned to cater to the requirements of all financial institutions, no matter their size, and capitalise on the rapid acceleration of Cloud deployment in financial services. These latency sensitive environments need to be built, connected and analysed and Beeks is one of the few companies in the world that can provide this. As a result, the Group's addressable market is extensive, with up to 20,000 financial institutions around the world, a large percentage of which maintain their own IT infrastructure and are yet to move to the Cloud computing model.

Trading Update

Combined with positive trading with new and existing clients, this new contract win means that the Board now anticipates revenues for the year ended 30 June 2022 will be ahead of current market expectations. The additional revenue will be reinvested in the further development of the Proximity Cloud offering, to capitalise on its growing sales pipeline and significant market opportunity.

Hi Guys,

We're in the dark here I feel. The last set of results ended prior to the launch of the 'transformational' Proximity Cloud Proposition so not included in the financials or metrics. They haven't previously provided a post-H1 Trading Update in advance of the H1 Results on 7 March.

Has anyone any insights into how current trading might be assessed or leading indicators - anything that might shed some light?

Regards Maddox

It did seem to go pear shaped after that though.Strange that the three recent rises have all been by 10p. Another couple and we'll be back over £2. Seems to be tightly held as sensitive to relatively small trades.

Perhaps it isn't being driven by anything much at all. Low volumes traded so there may be precious little underpinning the share price rise. Still ... makes for a nice warm feeling if you hold. :-)

@Husbod ... absolutely no way! That was just routine remuneration. I don't know what is driving BKS but it certainly is not that.
