02/9/2005 13:15 | Whats up? Diamond prices are going up strongly I know, but why the jump now? | davidblack
01/9/2005 16:56 | What will be the catalyst for these? Would it be for it to actually start selling diamonds? | 23michaeljc
24/8/2005 23:45 | ~It means if they make some money the Canadian Tax man gets nothing! | davidblack
20/8/2005 17:52 | does anyone know the reason or significance of this move?? tia sch "2 August 2005 - BDI Mining Corp. (AIM-BMG) advises that the Company has successfully continued from the jurisdiction of the Yukon, Canada, to that of the British Virgin Islands with an effective date of 14 July 2005." | schober
20/8/2005 13:37 | It feels like it is struggling to go up, but if you look at the chart from May when a seller was cleared, it is in fact clear that it is moving up all be it slowly. It's a dodgy part of the world though, and there are loads of junior mining stocks. I think the market is suffering indigestion. | adam
20/8/2005 07:35 | The market is waiting for the actual first sale. Thosa gold results look excellent but rather sadly they were not written in English rather a bad case of "Geological foot in mouth." | davidblack
18/8/2005 16:52 | I fully admit to know nothing whatsoever about mining companies but surely this must be under valued at 29p and market cap. of £22.7M. From what I've read everything seems to be going to plan ( although I would guess there have been delays in the past ) and production is underway which always appears to be the tricky bit i.e. going from exploration to production. I 've been watching poor old EPD for some time now, if only because the BB can be so entertaining with so much in-house fighting, and they are really struggling with cash and confirming the first find. Here tho, on the face of it, there is cash and production is underway so can anybody please tell me what I'm missing as I would have thought that the announcement made on 10 August would have started the share price to go quiet sharply north. There also does not seem to be too much hope value in the price either . Thanks | blindfaith2
11/8/2005 16:37 | 50k sale at 27p at half noon. The share gives me despair. | ppowerscourt
11/8/2005 12:44 | jackoms - interesting point, 8% wiped off with no sells ( or buys for that matter ) but also on the back on good news ! beats me | blindfaith2
11/8/2005 12:09 | Are we about to see a big sale come through? Must be some reason for the share price to drop so much on 0 volume... | jackoms
10/8/2005 09:39 | How come the share price has gone down then ? | blindfaith2
10/8/2005 08:21 | Looking very good, I guess when the gems are sold they will get nearer $2m as the prices are up on the original $285 last time. 1st Commercial Diamond Shipmt RNS Number:9299P BDI Mining Corp 10 August 2005 BDI Mining Corp. 20 East Cheap, London, EC3M 1EB England Telephone +44-20-7621 0200 Facsimile +44-20-7621 0300 Trading Symbol AIM - BMG CEMPAKA DIAMOND MINE COMMENCES COMMERCIAL SHIPMENTS LONDON - 10 August 2005 - BDI Mining Corp. (AIM-BMG) is this week dispatching 6,523.99 carats of diamonds from its Cempaka diamond mine in Indonesia for tender in Antwerp during the last week of the month. This consignment represents a new milestone for the Company, being the first commercial shipment of diamonds from its Indonesian mining operations. Based on the last valuation of US$285.00 per carat and the continued strength in the world market for rough diamonds, the parcel is anticipated to sell for approximately US$1.8 million (#1 million) - more than 60% above the value per carat received in 2002 from the sale of diamonds recovered during bulk sampling. Significantly, BDI Mining has now moved from exploration to production phase on its diamond operations. In addition, management believe that the anticipated premium being achieved for the Indonesian diamonds will continue given their quality and the current demand for such stones in the market. The first commercial parcel includes three diamonds above 10 carats - a 16.38 carat stone, an 11.47 carat stone and a 10.74 carat stone. The diamonds will be tendered on behalf of the Company by WWW International Diamonds Limited. Mr Lee K. Spencer, Managing Director and CEO of BDI Mining, said: "Management is now focussed on optimising the Cempaka resource and maximising diamond production while diamond prices remain high." 29/7/2005 08:14 | Yes I bought another slice yesterday at 28p. I have been trying for three days at 26p-27p with no luck. MMs don't appear to have any shares and the seller looks like he has gone. I bought them after going to a Central China Gold presentation (GGG), the finance director ( who is also at GGG) was looking confident saying they were pursuing the diamond licence and just because they could not sell the gems didn't mean they weren't collecting them. It struck me that with so little value around, I could park my cash here without any worries. I got the feeling we would get our first sale away this side of Christmas and of course that could be up to 5 months of production! | davidblack
29/7/2005 01:47 | dont know who keeps selling to keep this below 30p but am convinced enough that this well undervalued to have topped up the other day. | rambutan2
29/7/2005 00:08 | bageo, header now updated. Thx. | baughfell
26/7/2005 21:27 | an update for the header - the company website is www.bdiminingcorp.co - is now just a holding page with no redirect | bageo
21/7/2005 23:18 | hello david, no. not had much luck trying to get hold of an answerer. but i will persist. still stuck below 30p and been some fairly chunky dealings going through over recent weeks eg 850k x yesterday. the more i look at it the more sure i am that it's too cheap - assuming of course that they will be ok on the diamond exports front. | rambutan2 |
