I am a big buyer at 2 eur, the worst possible situation for 2018 is they build capital / reduce npls from underlying profitability and max they will need to hit the markets for to get total capital over 15pct is 250m eur, I dont think it will happen but that is the worst case situation, best case is continuing economic growth 40c of eps which creates all the capital needed and moving into 2019 with a stronger franchise and nice moat, long term can easily grow to eps of .75 and shares at 10 eur by 2020 ...

yep, I expect BOC to trade below 200c.

look, it could go either way.

the EUR500m provision they took as per IFRS9, could be overprovision or underprovision as it relates to future losses.

So if things don't turn out to be that bad share price would recover.

I do not doubt the cash generative ability of BOC the 50% NPL burden does not seem to go away any time soon.

BOC will need recapitalisation within a couple of years max, I dont see new s/h participating for less than 2 eur. The economy is not improving just rich russians drivimg property prices up near tbe beach. It's artificial. IFRS 9 will constantly require bank to lrovide for future losses and they will not be profitable until the npe situation is properly addressed.

The npe is 50pct but they have huge reserves and collateral against the loans which is worth well in excess of the values of the loans, the sales of collateral done to date have all been done at nice premiums to assessed valuations so if anything with the reserves taken to date the bad loan book could give a huge boost to future profits given the decent levels of coverage which can be written back, any further improvement in the donestic economy is going to lead to very nice levels of profits ...

I think they are looking good, final batch of kitchen sinking done, economy improving, my russian friends living there are very bullish the local economy and the company are forecasting eps of 40 cents for 2018 , I am happy to own them here ...
