13/9/2017 14:37 | 2.75 support being tested. If it does not hold I can see 2.50 approaching fast. no position but I might be interested at lower prices. | panagos
07/9/2017 17:17 | That's pretty low. I thought more around 250 | waywardlad
07/9/2017 11:57 | Don't do much with shares nowadays. Wanted to buy some boc but not in 330s. Thought the drop in price took account of the NPLs. In any case I will wait a bit longer. Are you in CY. | waywardlad
07/9/2017 10:22 | All good wwl, How is it going? hope you don't hold BOC shares, they are going down mate.. My LSE holdings are GENL and GAL feel comfortable with them. | panagos
07/9/2017 10:03 | How's it going Panagos. Long time no see!! | waywardlad
07/9/2017 08:28 | Once 2.75 support breaks things could get ugly............. EUR500m write-down certainly does not help. I see BOCH as a good short right now with 50% + NPLs and no visible solution to that in the pipeline. | panagos
11/5/2017 14:26 | This is really motoring now, very nice scoop and can go a lot higher, q1 results out soon and will be interesting to see if provision levels drop off, it seems like the domestic economy is doing very well and even greece seems to be improving a little | catsick
02/3/2017 03:17 | Results seem ok, deposit base building tiny profit compared to last q4 big extra provisions, my guess is they dont need to show a big profit this year, with underlying profitability running close to 600m that puts them on a pe of 2 once they stop provisioning which should be soon, also very well capitalised so should be able to pay a div on any half decent numbers, or buy back some shares which at these levels would make more sense.. | catsick
23/2/2017 06:11 | Still seeing drips of selling but the price seems to have stabilized, about a third of the shares are held by bailed in depositors who effectively were issued these at 20 eur a share for deposits in excess of 100k eur, this will be the first chance a lot of them had to sell on an easy to access exchange, I expect dribs and drabs of more sellers but quite soon we will see good results and the value will be revealed ... | catsick
10/2/2017 21:50 | Yes its dropped like a stone since listing in london, where will it settle ? 2.8 ? 2.5 ? 1.5? When it does settle will be an excellent buy ... | catsick
08/2/2017 14:38 | Better value now than it was two weeks ago. Perhaps wait another two weeks? | batham1
06/2/2017 01:46 | Anyone have any interest in this newly re-listed recovery play, looks like things are turning around nicely with some heavy hitters on board, at 3.05 we are 40 pct of book value and under 3 times normalized earnings with a recovery that could see assets being written back up and one of the best capitalized balance sheets in the European banking sector, Cyprus was forced to take the pain and the medicine and is now recovering in a way the rest of Europe have not, we could see this at 8 eur within 3 years is my prediction .... | petrusgazin |
