Mixed news today. Positive RNS about BPC being added as a respondent to the court proceedings.

But a separate RNS saying Leo Koot has resigned "for personal reasons" but will continue on a consulting basis.

Drilling commenced on 20th Dec and operations are expected to take 45-60 days to complete. That corresponds to 3rd - 18th Feb.

The SIMONE is back on its usual run from Jacksonville to Guantanamo Bay which usually takes it past the drill site. So we should get terrestrial AIS data for the iceMax and surrounding vessels for a few hours Monday afternoon. At least one additional boat is still anchored in the area and does not appear to be directly involved in the drill.

It would have passed by earlier except it looks like the SIMONE broke down on it's way back from Guatemala last week and had to be towed back to port for repairs. I really should get out more!

EDIT: By some fluke of conditions (tropospheric ducting?) the iceMax has apparently been picked up by the AIS station on the Bimini Islands 148.27 nautical miles away!

As we run closer to TD and excitement grows I suspect we might see a flurry of sound bites from the company covering IT and the success of the Co2 injection - surprisingly BPC have not announced anything in line with last weeks news from PRD on the topic.There is also the JR update - that's going to be an interesting read.Finally news on Safron2?Oh yes how could I forget - Could also be some news from P1....

Linters exactly - these paid bashers are running out of ideas - take the latest post from the basher who said categorically that BPC would have to sell IT to PRD for a derisory offer that PRD made because BPC were cash strapped got that very wrong.. he has never conceded this FACT... I note the scumbag holds PRD too... and since then bashes the hell out of BPC... Hence why he is bitter and twisted...
