17/11/2020 17:49 | But also, they did walk away........ Nobody knows who they were, what the circumstances were, all we know is the end result. I would imagine they paid to extend to let their people really dig into the data and run their models....... | pro_s2009
17/11/2020 17:38 | why did a major look at the data room...... then pay to extend the amount of time they had? if it was as terrible as you say, surely they wouldn't have extended. | johnsonmfc
17/11/2020 17:35 | I just saw another 2 late reported buys... one paid over the odds. Fairly small at 5 mill combined. | linton78
17/11/2020 17:32 | I see my buys in the closing seconds reported as a sell. | johny cash
17/11/2020 17:09 | Its still 65% Chance of Failure. I would again say........BPC failed to farm out.......people have been all over their data.......and all of them walked away. | pro_s2009
17/11/2020 17:01 | with 'tight-hole' procedures in place (Sic)..can’t see a reason for that? Must be other’s watching..but haven’t seen any. | rayrac
17/11/2020 16:54 | Egg - yes, so far only a 2.5m sell reported after hours vs the same buy at 2pm odd. Just seen another 1.5m sell reported... very small change overall... daily volume a mere 50 mill. This time next month it will all be irrelevant... | linton78
17/11/2020 16:50 | Huge sell orders | bigsi2
17/11/2020 16:48 | It's an independent figure by Moyes and Co. They are the most respected in the industry, and have independently verified BPC's data. They estimate a 28B upside potential should the B structure be filled with oil and the other structures. This is not BPC's estimate but Moyes. | whoppy
17/11/2020 16:44 | Trouble is, you will see appraisal wells with over 50% CoS fail.......dry...... One mans 35% is another mans 15%.......it all depends on who is doing the risk rating. I would suggest, given BPC have failed for years to farm this out, that the majors who come looking, looked at the data and said "10% at best" and walked away. Dont read anything into that 35% figure - especially given how many people and companies have been into the data room over the years........and all of them walked away - not interested. IMO. | pro_s2009
17/11/2020 16:44 | Can see why now but what a game they play.. hold the line I believe is the term... | eggchaser
17/11/2020 16:38 | That's not how you should be looking at the COS. Every well starts off at 100% chance of failure. When you look at a first well that is a basin opener, the COS is very low generally no greater than 10%, ie 90% failure. A well that is drilled in a known oil basin will only have a maximum of 80% COS. So 35% for an unknown basin where commercial oil has not been discovered, is in fact very high. OK it's a 65% failure chance, however a lot of the main risks to failure have been mitigated in the survey work and what the data is saying 100% is that oil has been generated. When you put the two together the COS is quite high for a basin opening drill. | whoppy
17/11/2020 16:30 | If that were the case........BPC need to strike oil first. A 65% Chance of Failure is not to be ignored. The question for now is.......with currently no oil discovered and a 65% chance of complete failure........is a 130m market cap too high with the share price just over 3p. And when they use the CLN, and yet more shares are issued, that same 3p share price will suddenly mean 150m market cap and then more and more and more shares are issued........ I would say yes......too high already at 130m and we all know, more shares are to come from the CLN.........if it is allowed to proceed.......... | pro_s2009 |
