Have you even considered the infrastructure needed for all cars to be EV. Hmm doubt it. We are taking decades and decades. AlsoBig oilers will be well on top of that change by then.

I get your point egg, it's on what sort of terms would they demand?Have us over a barrel with free drill and 80/20 split? Or such punitive odds.Why give it away imo.but as you say balance all that against what would the share price be with a JV.Crystal ball job.

There will be fireworks BEFORE the drill imho.

This is not a time to be out of BPC or wait until closer to the drill next month to buy in for sure as could miss the boat big time on any day.

A great few weeks ahead.

I still expect the Super Major to return shortly and BPC to go to around 10p pre-drill.

Their hand will be forced by the Stena option as they will not want to lose out on a 35% CoS ("Dead cert") for up to 28 billion barrels of oil off the coast of the USA to anyone else,especially after paying all that money last year for exclusivity.
