Time to drill wells and discover new reserves is when the drill costs are low. Production won't be until a couple of years time, when oil price will hopefully be north of today's price. but it's all a gamble... Tom

He calls today a dead cat bounce.. actually dead cats dont bounce.. this is what they call fundamentals.. something hes trying to teach but doesnt understand himself..markets up and down..but as it stands the current price action and low volume is indicating slow confidence returning that we will get over it..maybe the market like what trump said last night or boris Johnsons speach last night.. but to me it just looked over sold and tomorrow we will know better.

If his outgoings are £8m for less than a months expenditure I fear there is only one person going bankrupt....He will get through his £71m in less than 7 months I guess

ExxonMobil and Chevron have suggested they too would be axing their budgets, with Exxon under particular pressure. Goldman Sachs estimates that Chevron needs $50 per barrel in order to cover spending and its dividend. ExxonMobil, on the other hand, needs something like $70. to think of Exxon spending millions on new frontier exploration in the current market and climate is rather amusing
