Involving Shore capital was a smart move as it displays overall confidence from the broker - and an indication that they feel they can sell at no orminimal loss. also incentive and some confidence that can place any remains shares at not drastically less than 2p.although as a cautionary note it's worth considering the wording ..."We are delighted to make the open offer to our existing shareholders and, REFLECTING THE POTENTIAL INTEREST shown from institutional investors, will be making any shares not taken up available in the Placing, as part of a funding package for our planned drilling activities.so attempt but not guaranteed to place at 2p "Shore Capital, to use REASONABLE ENDEAVOURS to place any Ordinary Shares not taken up under the Open Offer with institutional investors at the same price as the Open Offer.

Shore capital to take up $1m at OO price if needed - that's goodKey points matching the inflow of funding (and costs associated with that funding) to the timing of when that funding is actually needed, especially given that, whilst a degree of funding certainty is required at the present time, the majority of cash outflow will only occur when activities associated with drilling commence in late Q1 2020The Company has appointed its broker, Shore Capital, to use reasonable endeavours to place any Ordinary Shares not taken up under the Open Offer with institutional investors at the same price as the Open Offer. Shore Capital has agreed that to the extent any remaining shortfall is not fully placed, Shore Capital will participate in the Placing to the point that the Open Offer is fully subscribed or to a maximum of US$1 million. In the event that the full GBP6.77 million is not raised via the Open Offer and subsequent Placing and/or the Conditional Convertible Note was not able to be drawn down in full then the funds raised via the Open Offer will be used to fund general working capital.

Ditto Stewart. It does make me think there is something else going on in the background. I do suspect that they are close on funding aside from the OO. Else why would you delay, other than legalities ?

Ever hopeful, as it were !

Our resident loony, Specialist is trying to get a "rise" out of the bulletin board members, whereas the bulletin board members are trying to get a "rise" out of BPC.

Maybe not so different after all......... lol

Shorts struggling here. Trying to keep it down, but you can't fight a change in circumstance if the open offer is no longer needed due to the preferred option. Have shorts been sucked in again by BPC?

It is all near the end in my view. The funding has essentially failed in my view after the institutions rejected giving them funding at 1p. Some MUGS might pay up 2p but probably 90% will refuse - therefore no oil and failure in my view.

RUN MUGS RUN - your Messiah has warned you.
