Si, the major will jump in before the drill or when they hit at the very latest.

Given the license area and CPR a share price of 25p will be passed pretty quickly IMO.

The major that payed for exclusivity will come back pre-drill, they didn’t pay $1m to chat to Potter and drink coffee in Nassau...

a ten bagger plus not to be scoffed at -worth pointing out though that this recently (2018) increase 16 fold over a period of less than 10monthsshows the potential of timing trades correctly- and having a balanced unbiased outlook

The comparison to RKH holds in that it was new frontier exploration - and they own 100%
where it breaks down is the difference in POO 2010/11 - around 50% less currently
And shares in issue - RKH had less and still has less than 450m in issue. likely around 1/6 BPC by time funds raised in full-

so the 37p - 550p scenario for RKH is hardly likely to occur for BPC

with 3bn shares in issue a $750m+ (depending on discovery) Mcap isn’t impossible- so around 25p plus - baring in mind they currently have no funds for appraisals let alone development- not a problem once the oil is discovered but it would obviously constrict share price appreciation

Good Call - not a fan of advertising other shares in this forum as it does not sound genuine but agree with your last comment

If they drill and find HC, this will multibag but the journey from Discovery to Production is a very long one with considerable variation in share price.... I can suggest comparing with Rockhopper (RKH)

Most importantly, make money and do not fall in love with the share..

Given the different instruments you use and the way you write I am quite confident that you do better than most here. The secret is that you want to improve and that you do not believe that your original view and position should hold into eternity. Good luck to you and I hope you have a very profitable year in whatever stock you are in or invest in the future.

re emotions. I have a tendency to get attached to a stock and do not 'trade' it enough. My best trades by far have been covered warrants on EMG and EEN. Both were relatively massive wins for me but I was just learning warrants, got lucky and realised it, and EEN was bought out from me otherwise I no doubt would have held for too long.
I set myself rules/targets now once I am in profit, a trailing stop loss with the intention of selling down to keep to my max x% of portfolio. I don't always act on it immediately but at least I know I am taking a larger risk!

For dhb368 - just a quick comment on what you said about "removing emotions" form your trading. That is possibly the most difficult thing to do - not only for you guys but also for professional investor and traders. That is the reason that we now in investment banks pay the most not to traders or analysts but to computer programmers who write the best and most effective "algos" . These computer generated "algos" trade totally emotionless and if the programme is good enough they make more money even than a star trader. As such when I read a majority of comments here which is "book" driven I know that they lose more money than not!

To the Board:

I am very happy to remain constructive and as a majority of us are clearly "Long" we hopefully will make a lot of money on this stock together. However, if an Idiot like Lovejoy turns up which still thinks what we write here moves stocks or stating opinions if contrary to their positions is harmful then I have no option but to teach them humility.

Have a great weekend and until we meet the next IDIOT :)

You expect 4.5 to 6p. Why not ask on the forum what lth hope to get long term on an oil find proven up. You come on here boasting about you day trading knowledge. I can only speak for myself but I couldn't give a dam about you're day trading activities. Day traders like you are parasites, nothing else. Gits like you put off new long term investors. You're so greedy you can't see that. You're pathetic
