That's ashame. You just missed out on £24k profit or so. I think buying now at 3p is a good punt before farmout. Farmout news will be like an oil discovery, imo. Downside is you will have to Shell out £30k.

I think whoever the current incumbent of GOB they have always been very conscious that drilling for oil would loose them the next election. It does seem that they are now prepared to surreptitiously push forward.It has often been suggested that the previous lack of commitment has been a stumbling block for obtaining funding- this gradual show of commitment along with licence clarification is reassuring.Interesting to read some of the comments on press article..along with public interviews on the news channels it seems that if the GOB is testing the waters as it goes for public support then they must be pleased.From T242-"The majority of the public are in favour of oil drilling - they want change in the Bahamas.The seismic was done years ago... what's the point being raised?We want the jobs and revenue. My resume is ready to hand into BPC when they get ready to drill"

Litho, Thanks mate, at under 3p to buy looks like I called it right for once. Was 3.5k up on one stock the other week and let it ride because it looked solid, now same is 2k down so wasn't going to let this one get away as being her to long waiting for some action. Looks like will get a chance to buy back in this week now.

I didn't say I was currently short BPC.I wouldn't be confident taking a large short position here when news could indeed break any time. I tend only to short like many others when price being short term pumped or when clearly overvalued- eg UKOG at 6-7p or FRR CTAG QPP few examples.

My view on BPC is that we will get positive news and we will rise substantially which is why I think its a buy, bit of retracement today but short to medium term looks good.

My view of course, you want to short it fine, I simply do not like shorting stocks.

Why?? just because the stocks you hold go down as well as up?good lord !! some stocks deserve shorting.You'll only increase the amount of fraudulent and shady dealings if the share price can't be correspondingly penalised.If you feel a stock has been pushed to low then buy it - as market forces dictate it will return to fair value.
