Martyn - BP and Macondo. Bit worrying. BP bought BHP's shale assets and paid $10Bn so maybe a bit skint?

Btw BHP paid $20Bn for the shale assets, so lost $10Bn.

BHP just pocketed $10.8Bn for the sale of it's unconventional shale oil assets in the US. The Head of the petroleum business has been replaced by Head of the conventional oil business. So they have plenty of cash to look for conventional oil.
