I hadn't thought to do that comparison, that's re-assuring - a little - so thanks. I still cannot find anything overly worrying about the management, the product, fundamentals, level of short orders etc, all the stuff that outsiders like me try to mug up on (excuse the pun) - except the constant drip in the share price, so still whistling in the dark.

Since the election BAB is down more or less in line with BAe (including dividend) which suggests its overall uncertainty rather than a BAB timebomb

Once there's been a few scary warnings eg. Carillion ! - the value stocks will all get spooked to some extent, on the basis that one 'value trap' has come to pass with dire consequences for holders. For instance PETS has had a bad time for no apparent reason, lots of shorts and after the recent statement its recovered off what looks like a bottom. I think if I'd been in here for a long time and had a profit to book, I'd probably book a chunk though. If loads of the persistent drops are actually because of forthcoming warnings, then stock values will be the least of our worries. My guess is that most stocks that are apparent value will come off the bottom by a decent amount and then the pundits and fund managers will start talking about 'value' and that the main market has gone far enough with the growth stock p/e's.

Feel a bit happier now I have sold 50% - not much fun watching the daily drip drip. But I still believe this is a sound company. Suet

Is it possible that because the markets are in bull mode, that value is not a priority for funds or other significant investors. After all, you'd have to justify being in value stocks while others are rising, even if those others had silly high p/e's. imo funds, analysts and managers are just as much sheep as the average pi.

Below £8 and I will be selling 50%. Just can't understand it. Been here since the VT days and have overall done ok. Suet - time to move on I think - ditched Woodford from my pension some time ago!
