Posted at 14/11/2024 12:44 by dope007 a lot of the UK is cheap and being an investor for a few decades it seems the UK very rarely rewards and only looks to punish when a mis-step is made. that is then followed up by selling a UK business on the cheap to foreigners |
Posted at 17/9/2024 14:41 by actomox As ususal, may people here fail to look at the bigger picture and see all rises and falls as Tory/Labour issues. And they call themselves 'investors'! |
Posted at 06/2/2024 12:34 by sooty snipes It's been a tough hold for the past 3 years but patience is finally paying off. I really rate the CEO David Lockwood. He's slowly turning the company round after the debacle of Archie Bethel and his cohorts. Can't see any reason why this shouldn't go from strength to strength as investors gain more confidence with the company and the management. |
Posted at 13/12/2023 12:31 by eigthwonder I think this had been a dog for long enough that too many investors don't trust it beyond the last reported set of numbers - proper performance (of any share) needs belief in the future. So, it's case of letting the figures speak for themselves to enable investors to start believing beyond the figures. Also, one of the favourite games at the moment is to spot the next takeover, and this one isn't a candidate in view of what it does, and the logical domestic buyer (BAe) is probably excluded on monopoly grounds |

Posted at 27/3/2023 14:26 by suetballs I messaged the company ( investor relations ) about the trading update and they were sorry that they had been unable to update the market yet. It was for the Board to decide but it was now more likely to be a post-close update rather than a Q3.Suet |
Posted at 11/12/2021 11:14 by rogerrail IMO share price still suffering due to lack of visibility on dividend policy. Major mistake not to flag what their target expectarions are. Company could be ripe for an activist investor to get involved. |

Posted at 24/6/2021 15:30 by pepepepe73 @ptonks, it's not about fanboys. It's about all the bad news are priced in and majority of shorts run away once Bab's CEO stated no shares issues were required. It's a matter of time, institutional investors will back to the game and BAB share price rise to at least 600p. You have the chance to be part of it. Take it or throw it. |
