Surely there must be some action in the share as it approaches the Annual Results. So far, protected from general market hubris with little if any share price action. Looking for a suitable increase in NAV and some positive statements on current business. R. |
Finals in about 4 weeks must be looking good!. |
Hoping this can make a run toward 350p |
Can't handle all this blue! :) |
retsiusAlways :)Slow burner this but let's hope £3 doesn't provide too much resistance and it continues on its long term uptrend........been sideways for far too long haha. All the best and thanks again. |
DD4
Always be pleased with a profit!
Some interest in the stock in the last few days, and has held up well in these atrocious market conditions, eg. Brexit, Trump...…..
Should be steady into results in a month, which I hope will be positive. R. |
retsius and PeterMust thank you both, since last week I'm finally in profit, hopefully it will continue on its merry way now.All the best |
Nice to see this slowly moving towards 300 and hopefully some decent results next month will push it towards it's NAV. |
Wouldn't rely on British Bulls tbh. |
Biggest rise in six months. Been unloved by the market, but things look like perking up before results.
British Bulls :1/05/19: Buy.
Yes probably an old crony of Brian, but that's not a bad thing if he thinks like Warren Buffet!
I got a slight feeling of positivity from the announcement, but maybe that was just my imagination. R. |
Brian's finally perking up, I couldn't be more pleased.
Saw the announcement about the new NED and didn't think that would move the market but perhaps someone's impressed?
Is it me or is the new NED an old crony of Brian's? Not necessarily a bad thing, but I'd like to know more about the guy. |
Two days on the trot...wtf! Lol |
I love a bit of blue ;) |
What's this blue all about!!, lol |
Bscuit Not too certain about that, if you google "Martin MacLeish form 8.3", it's not the first time he has used 8.3 so doubt it's a case of filling in the incorrect form. Not aware BPM had to issue an acknowledgement of the 8.3, never seen that before for other takeovers/mergers......still strange IMO, but probably something of nothing. |
My guess is that MM built up the stake and.self-reported using the wrong form to the LSE and to the company who acknowledged the position by the RNS. |
Was this evenings RNS a legal requirement or what?, very strange. |
Mr MacLeish bought 3% or 2% off the bat and this still hasn't budged much.Yep, paint, dry, watching, spring to mind. Lol |
Good discussion .
At least we know he sees value/ potential here which is encouraging; hope that may give the share price a jolt upwards: been like watching paint dry for months.:-) |
Buying 3% gets him in the room though, i.e. Brian can no longer ignore. Will be interesting to see what happens from here. |
Fair point DD. However no bid will succeed without Brian Marsh's agreement so in the unlikely (in my view) event there surely would just be an announcement of a deal. |
Thanks peter, sorry missed the RNS.Didn't realise BPM were in a bid situation!, why use form 8.3 of the takeover code and not TR1?.....strange!For form 8.3 it's holdings above 1% not 3% as with TR1. |
Perhaps only bought a few and passed 3% so price wouldn't be disturbed. |
Not necessarily. He probably bought enough to push him over 3%. He may have been building a position over several years. DYOR I'm just suggesting a scenario. |
