Not many sectors in favour either, I think it is an unfortunate timing of a reasonable TU . Not selling, but may have a long wait to get back in the blue. I don't think the company is in trouble. |
figures are fine for me. not stellar but they are Ok and set up well for 4th quarter with Jan run rate ahead.
still forecasting a minimim of £620 profit.
hopefully and early special divvie in next financial year and the December and January sales are positive lfl so I will take that.
disappointed with share price action but I'm holding these for a recovery. I'm new in at 355p. MKS and TSco but down a lot too so sector still not in favour. |

328 is todays channel level. big longterm channel off covid lows. a close below this channel opens up a move towards all time lows with stops on the way by swing lows from covid and in oct'22. |

My initial reaction to figures. The special dividend is down to 15p from 20p. The increase in profit is only a couple per cent.Is the growth coming only from the increase in number of stores ? Is the profitability per store flatlining?In the current economic environment this may be a good result, but it doesn't shout "Buy me!" |

Having taken another look at the chart there appears to be a small gap up near 340p at the beginning of December.I hope we don't have to retrace to cover that.I'm still not fully convinced about "gap covering", but the more I look out for them the more I am finding. Hmmmm. |

Which gap are you referring to? The last uncovered gap that I can spot is beginning of June. |
376-378 is key here. the bounce of the lt trendline at 325 has seen the shares get almost to that gap and what happens there is key. |

Pivotal moment right now, at the top of it's down-trend line. Let's see if it breaks up from it or even moves sideways which would indicate a new trend..... |
