these are bumping along the top of their well defined up channel, im not sure they are particularly good value here in terms of share price company itself is great. next couple of years tough comps and so earnings quite flat. i think market might give you a chance to buy these cheaper next year.

Well yes that 640p or near would be a target for me as well.

This would be my first dabble with B&M and if successful would give me an insensitive/encouragement to dabble further at some stage.

Yep, true. Maybe they just want to keep the share price under control and stop it getting ahead of itself. Don't know if CEOs do that sort of thing, but probably a good time for us as DIY investors to do a full long term reassessment and work out if it turns out to be a good time to top up or alternatively take some profits and top up once the price pulls back a bit.

Just read the CEO comments. Doesn't seem to give any particularly well reasoned evidence for his cautious 2022 sales volatility outlook. Perhaps he is just nervous about their recent particularly strong figures casting a shadow on future revenue which doesn't continue in the same up trend.

To be fair stores like them have been open during lockdown so not sure what the evidence for that is. I would have thought with inflation set to rise stores like B&M that are known as discounters should thrive and end up strengthening their customer base
