The most significant line in that statement was almost a throw-away line towards the end, "Avanti confirms that trading for the Full Year to June 30th 2014 is in line with expectations."

If I'm not mistaken that means that they are confirming for the first time that they can and will meet current FY14 forecasts. That means revenues will double seq. to c.$50m in 2H and EBITDA of c.$20m. (Jefferies Feb/14)

Now that would confound the skeptics amongst us!

Could this be the first signs of that J-curve that DW was referring to in February?

10% finance sounds twice as much as it should have been

Debt will be a big problem for this going forwards

Mkt Cap £315m on a turnover of £20m and loss making looks a recipe for disaster

Not a competitor to AVN as skybox specialise in detailed mapping, but it demonstrates easier to buy established technology such as AVN rather than Build your own.

Given there was no broadband for our customers before Avanti came along ..... they are presumably fledgling companies/divisions and need help to take off.

Once they are winging it in a proven market, expect the pricing and profitability to be higher all round. IMHO of course!

Indeed he has turned up, and is as positive as ever. I'm so glad he has no interest in the company. Ahem.

There are certainly lots of contract wins but as ever we need to see the details which they don't release. I can understand why. So we have to wait until they report to see what is happening.
Wait, wait and wait.

i know I'm a stuck record, but it's a matter of time until this gets a proper re-rating. I've always thought that they need to deliver.
They now are.

Why so negative Megabear? On second thoughts....

A multi million £ contract can't be bad news. Might not be great if it's a couple of mill over 10 years but as we don't know all the details at least it's money coming in.

More money for a new satellite? At least they are planning to expand That shows a positive outlook. Lets wait for the details.

I would be happier if we were throwing of mega bucks but still a waiting game.

Looks a major threat. Also looks like interest costs to go even higher judging by today's announcement.

Begs the question. Why is Avanti now releasing contract news like this?

He hasn't said otherwise in his diaries that I've seen. All the positive RNSs are a bit inconvenient for the shorters. I wonder if it's Avantis deliberate response having been bear raided before? They didn't report contract wins until recently
