01/8/2012 09:44 | Hi John, I'm still hoping that a Successful launch will push the price to my SIPP average of 570p by next Friday. Which would make my SB's very happy indeed. Yours another John | ![]() 2350220

31/7/2012 20:52 | John. Stick me down for 381. I think the dim macro news will limit much of a rocket rocket, we'll either pop up and then down or simply hang around here. The strong support we saw at 350 last week will notch up a few pegs and I certainly can't see there is anyone left to sell at that level. Thereafter I think we'll mark time for a while as we rotate out of launch traders and into those with a 12-24 month view on earnings. Full year results (not real news, but I expect a decent Chairman's statement) and H2 commissioning will then signal the start of a gradual rise which could go on for a long time. Of course there is something to be said for betting the opposite on all the above ;-). | ![]() hpcg
31/7/2012 20:37 | Good idea John Put me down for a bullish 460p Cheers G2 | ![]() geheimnis2
31/7/2012 20:32 | My charts as at close today: Day indicators neutral but unsteady towards the negative side. Anyone interested in predicting the post launch price of AVN as at 10 August might like to look at my post 9810 on the other AVN thread . . . | johncsimpson
31/7/2012 17:31 | Per bubbleandleek I think the H2 launch is largely assumed to be a success, though there is always a chance it could go wrong, and so it is more or less in the price. However I don't think the share price discounts an "according to plan" statement in either of the next two earnings reports. And yes I do realise they have already given advice in the respect for the finals. My long shares are sitting around waiting and I am SB free at the moment. I'll be looking to leverage up at what I hope will be a post launch sell off as short termers exit. | ![]() hpcg

31/7/2012 10:58 | cheers k0 you seem like a good guy - even though we don't agree on how share prices work! have a good day! | ![]() geheimnis2
31/7/2012 09:05 | Morning John, thanks, there's enough testosterone flying around in this game without me adding to it! If you don't have the kahuna's to say what u write at a keyboard to a stranger's face then u shouldn't be typing it at all (keyboard warrior's). As for your challenge, not really a fan of these as the market's reaction to news is key unlike a set of preconceived notions of what the price should be however i'll entertain ya with a price before your deadline :) Have a fab day | k0108356
31/7/2012 08:59 | successful launch 440p - crash, bang, wallop 120p | bubbleandleek
31/7/2012 08:42 | I would agree with that divinausa1 we need to move to the main market and I understand that is David Williams intention. | ![]() yorgi
31/7/2012 08:19 | G2---My wife also agree's I have a warped logic, i always argue that's why I married her! ;) Sure your not a buffoon, the market is made up of all kinds of investors/traders hence that's why it's one of the best games in town 2350220---no reason why with "trend trading" it needs to be any harder, we all get suckered into finding the top/bottom, just find a trend and jump on/off, once a trend get's hold of a company's chart it's so much more difficult to shake off Backmarker---you made me chuckle with that just before I went to the gym first thing this am! Jump on brother! :) Divi---The FTSE is 5700, SPX near 1400 and Dow 13, 000, woes I hear? Market's are pricing in forward CB action hence markets forward thinking, same with AVN | k0108356
31/7/2012 06:52 | k0108356 30 Jul'12 - 18:57 - 9792 of 9799 Tbh i don't get the hype around the Hylas II launch, yes it's a new revenue stream, yes it open's up new market's but what do guy's think the current share price represent's? The share price represent's all thing's known to the market including Hylas II and even a very small % of Hylas III. Before anyone start's about the current share price only taking into account Hylas I revenue's and market cap being below NAV blah blah blah the market's include all these things, market's are forward looking not backward or present looking. -------------------- disagree markets are usually forward thinking but the current woes for the world economies has made markets over cautious on many stocks and ESP AIM stocks(many are trading less than cash levels let alone their assets on the books. AVN need to get out of AIM market and move to the main market imo | divinausa1 |
