24/6/2013 09:27 | You seem to be looking for something to worry about. If you are on margin I'd suggest selling. If you aren't prepared to take on risk you really shouldn't be investing in shares. If you are out and looking for a lower entry make sure you don't wait too long. All mine are paid for at less than current prices so I'm happy to hold | ![]() sg31

17/6/2013 09:58 | I see you are in the President Assad camp when it comes to the 'BB Spring', yorgi! "I'm afraid I don't see the point." Just freedom of choice, mate, and it wouldn't hurt you to reinstate the graphs. As for starting yet another thread, why? How many do you want? I didn't even feel we needed a 2nd one never mind a 3rd! | ![]() jeffian

16/6/2013 22:52 | Jeffian, I'm afraid I don't see the point. I set up the new BB with what I felt was a more up to date and appropriate title for where we are today but if for some reason some people want to go backwards then that is their choice. However people are free to post wherever they want. If you would like to start a BB up Jeffian and add all the information then please do I will happily put a note and link in the header that you are now hosting the AVN BB and close this one down. EDIT Or Jeffian you could invite people to use this BB ! | ![]() yorgi
16/6/2013 22:39 | yorgi, We've had the Arab Spring and the people seem to be speaking again in Iran so, in the interests of democracy, could you pop some graphs back in the header of the 'other thread' and let the people decide which one they want to use? TIA. | ![]() jeffian

12/6/2013 08:23 | Four months since we had the last hint from the company of how the business was progressing.AmI reasonable in assuming that there cannot be any significant deviation from the anticipated trading in that period or else they would have been obliged to let us know? Paul Walsh share purchases have been only source of confidence in that time. | ![]() mjcferguson
09/6/2013 20:34 | jonnib - Just doing my Sunday night catch up. See you,ve posted above. I commented because I noticed buywell's graph and I agreed with his prognosis. My comments were (originally) on the alternate AVN board. I didn't take offence at the chuckle brother comment. It was the notion that I'm not allowed to / shouldn't post even on the alternate board that 'niggled' me. If Lucien and EK have shorted AVN I wasn't aware of it, so that was just a coincidence. At the moment my graph shows AVN in a sideways channel between about 255 and 270. So slightly positive, but as I think I said at the time it will take a couple of months to reach my 'predicted' 215 area. I backed up that opinion with references to buywell's graph. If that's de-ramping well fair-enoughski, But I don't have an agenda vis a vis your good self or indeed AVN and I have nothing other than a nodding acquaintance with buywell. I promise you (and I have said so before) I am NOT buywell. My memory of you was that you were a polite, decent poster . . . but because of your 'don't post here' stance, now not so polite. Anyway, as a peace offering I've ticked up your post and I sincerely hope that AVN doesn't drop out of the aforementioned sideways channel though in truth, I'm not bothered one way or the other financially because as I've said I'm heavily into IOF. I shan't post again re this matter. | johncsimpson
05/6/2013 12:54 | here's the addition done for you. So yes, they put in the odd £20k, here and there, but their salaries are almost £900,000, bonuses (remember, despite ill-performance) of £766,000 'Other'Benefits (whatever *that* means?) over £250,000 two-hundred-and-fift Post employment benefits of £108,546 in last year alone!! No wonder they can afford to punt some cash on this enterprise, if it fails they still reap huge rewards!! | ![]() rimmy2000 |
