Its an integral part of listed companies to change strategic direction in a fast evolving market such as diagnostic testing Ficticious1 but I tend to agree with Boycie, we just dont know what operational challenges there may have been at Avacta but one certainty still remains and that's the versatility of LFT tests in detecting any covid variant but not specifically in an ever mutating Covid environment...

Absolutely right boysie. Have often thought of building a portfolio based on Head Office and CEO upbringing in either Glasgow/Edinburgh or Yorkshire. Comfortable holding for that alone lol.
Anyone hear the old tale about Scots business folk being sent to Yorkshire for finishing school.
Power of Institutional Fund Managers to remove incompetent Directors or even entire boards should not be under-estimated.

Wasnt having a pop at you, do accept we can think differently. Avacta have already proved they monitor main social media for what is being talked about, a tricky balancing act between what the company can disclose and what share holders demand to know.The main shareholders of Avacta would not hesitate to address an incompetent CEO activity, so as it stands, there would appear to be very valid reasons to Avactas progression.

Anyone good at Maths lol. Re: Jupiter 0.5% short....last I heard it was still open. Share in issue 1.032 billion. x 0.05 = 51.6 million shares. Volume today from HL 657k.
Volume on a busy day 3 to 5 mill. Can smell a nice bear squeeze coming on a bit of good news. FOMO Friday and traders closing soon.
