A very dilutive fund raising? That would explain the price action....

Offcourse with cable trading at these levels, future Mile stone payments from Korean Partner looks even more attractive. USD payments !!! About 30% higher

Yes would love some news even if its reagents business which I thought was being analysis by a few COs. Tufs news should land in 11 months. A lot can happen in a market in that time frame. I'm very heavy here as I believe lol.

0.23 pence in old money then!
What a disgrace this Company is.
Just have a look how much they pay their Managment.
The sector is hot but continues to ignor Avacta.

On the positive Wan I understand that when they have raised money in the past their broker Turner Pope do have an offering for PIs and therefore you don't have to be diluted.

LG payment they stated was 12 to 18 months out. Mentioned in a recent video. Obviously the former would be a good result for the accounts

thanx Rubstick, I appreciate your view, no problem, no need to discuss further and certainly no need to argue. I wish you the very best....

I suppose my view is one of 'I expect all sorts of shenanigans to go on between here and when I eventually sell my shares for a profit' so I don't worry too much about it... The key for me is success of the technology for mankind as well as some profit for shareholders and it's very risky, so that may or may not happen :-)

cheers Wan :-)

Escapetohome they had £5.2m on bal sheet at end of 2018 year. They added £11m in Aug 2018. Gives them around £16m and they burn around £8 to 10m a year. The company is on record as saying the funds will last them until 2020. But bringing a drug to human use is an expensive thing. That said we don't know about the immediacy of the LG payments.

Wan, of course it matters. I am not looking for an argument here. I have invested in a start up like this before. Money is invested and used. If it is all used up the company has to go back to investors. Each time they go back they are at the behest of the new investors who are not obligated by previous ones. If the company calls at the wrong time and investors are hard to find previous investors can end up with tiny holdings. In that event it can go up 100 times you don't get your money back. Look I believe in affimers too. I have followed this company for some years, but I don't think this sort of investment can be seen as anything but risky and it certainly isn't one way traffic. All i am saying.

When they raised they said it would see them through on their main pdl1 project. since then we have had their other project with tuffs brought forward which I consider very good news. If news on tuffs is positive and they do have enough cash and no surprises then they in theory should be able to raise from higher share price I would have thought the next cash call to be the last under one pound. That's my take
