27/5/2005 20:25 | wyorke, bought another 3,000 this am at 185p and of course it may go lower yet but really can't see by much as it's already been considered a T/O target by private equity. The property alone must be worth more than the current share price which would be right up their street. Very low margins on their business just now and the French operation really struggling but surely if you're contrarian at all this must be the time to buy and wait for either a pick up or a take out whilst the near 6% divi keeps it interesting. Very under researched stock imho yet leader in it's market. | warranty
27/5/2005 10:27 | May be think buy ?? 180P , because nav at 175P . | wyorke
27/5/2005 08:50 | Now hit an all time low at 185p almost 100p under NAV!!! How long before it's snapped up for it's breakup and property alone? | warranty
10/4/2005 00:52 | This could now be a very good stock to pick up for those who like recovery plays. It's fallen well below its NAV and looks good for a takeover if the price doesn't recover soon. Earnings are steady and with new vehicle sales still buoyant there's no reason for the share price to go much lower. Ideal put in an ISA and forget until action stock. | warranty
17/12/2004 17:36 | Could be another profits warning shortly as trading doesn't seem to have improved but following that it's back into buy territory as it's too good a business to stay independant for long. Anybody any views on this under-researched stock? | warranty
25/8/2004 20:35 | At this price ALG is a cert to get taken out. It wont stay this low for long. DYOR obviously but this is a stunner of an ISA stock. | warranty

01/12/2000 19:35 | Something is afoot with ALG - 597,000 shares traded at not a budge on the share price - it's going to happen soon! | stevecrowe
27/11/2000 22:00 | Gwendoline - I think something is about to happen soon and give us ALG shareholders a big Xmas present or a happy new year! | stevecrowe
26/11/2000 11:39 | IMHO the sector still looks very promissing. We have seen the Exel developments which overall looks like a great move once the short term market stabilises and there does seem competition amongst the big players throughout Europe to grow and develop their businesses. With you having pointed out this situation on Autologic it seems very interesting and I for one will be looking closely at their potential this week. If any further views available would appreciate them? | gwendoline
25/11/2000 17:59 | Anyone follow the logistics/transport sector closely? Autologic Holdings PLC usually trade 3-4k of shares a day but this past week have seen several significant volume trades over 50k, 78k and on Wednesday 200k shares and yet the price did'nt move. As a charting follower this normally spells some corporate activity or key announcements - any comments from sector specialists? | aleo
09/10/2000 00:58 | Pressume something to do with cars, anyway nice chart - fledgling though, what you think ? | aquila |
