Menzies Campbell forced out of Liberal leadership for no reason but age, he is 66.
'Age' is commensurate with experience.
Many support sir Ming and are unhappy about his being dumped by the Liberals.
In fact his demise is more based on the fact that he is holding up his several successors.
I'm not interested in the Liberal issue but if Sir Menzies, younger than Churchill in 1943, is not worthy because of age, then let the many of us only 10 years younger, should worry. In fact Menzies is mentally much sharper than Churchill, a notorious old soak and eventually victim to altsheimers - or drink. ( you choose)>
Get the grey revolution working - properly.

I am looking for medium term home for capital returning at least 7 % over 3 to 5 years - anyone using a product or account which will achieve this by guarantee, without capital risk? ( any interst ? I know this is maininly a traders BB).

Alternatively it may be time very soon to go long a FTSE tracker fund with a 5 year lock-in especially if we can see FTSE 4200 bottom ( or near there). That is very likely to return 9-10 even 12% P/A assuming FTSE is above say 5750 in 5 years, it could be over 6500 again by then . It seems a one way bet.

I also hold a few hedge fund positions but so far in the last 6 months have only returned an average of 1-2 percent! But at least are not showing a fall, and will do well when the market really has turned.
