Bakunin - an excellent point.

There is certainly the potential for ATL to rise to PHD's valuation, especially if they introduce Software as a Service (SaaS) / an on-demand solution in September and acquire a capability to provide SaaS

Mad - SRF re-ignited billings growth because of SaaS (BlackSpider acquisition), i see similar potential with ATL. Eugene Blaine, speaking at last autumn's Annual User Group meeting, mentioned that he wanted to introduce SaaS for Corporate Vision.

P.S. I've just finished reading the new PPM book (Project Portfolio Management - Leading the Corporate Vision) - obviously written from a strong evidential base. Recommended reading if you want to find out more about the potential of PPM. Check out chapter 4.3 (SaaS).

Thanks for the update. Good to see you back.

Earlier link above no longer works. The site got too big for free web-space. Now at:-

I look forward to updating it with some juicy numbers.

explorer - good to see you back!

We'd all thought you'd got lost at sea.

Good to see this come to life again - I picked up 16k yesterday, fortuitously, and think this has great potential.

With cash worth half the M/C, risk is minimal.

Hello mad and fellow ATL investors

Wilmdav - i can confirm that Norwich Union are still a client of ATL. Norwich Union recently signed a three year service agreement with the company (source : Rupert Hutton, Finance Director).

Whilst the significant growth in ATL's revenues and profitability is a few months behind what i initially anticipated, that growth is now starting to kick in. For example, ATL have just (last week) started to recruit solutions consultants and developers to meet the growing demand.

Introduction of totally new IP in September will help achieve the forecasts i gave at the start of the year, albeit running a few months behind my initial forecast timescales.

:-)

Positive statement from AGM; looks as if we've hit bottom and should be a strong recovery here.

Is anyone going to the AGM tomorrow? I'd be very interested in hearing what will be said. I don't currently hold but ATL is on my radar.

You folk might like to glance at this.

It probably won't tell you much that you don't already know. The half-yearly profit, cash flow and eps charts are the ones to note.

I note that Norwich Union is missing from the client list. They were heavily involved in development of the product if my memory serves.

certainly something to build on
dont think this will move the price up tho
probably get marked down and maybe recover abit this pm
although not much volume on this share in general
so may just get marked down and stay there
hopefully not much
only a very small holding for me so will keep long term

Just 7135 shares traded so far this month and no trades over the past 4 days !

Yawn...very sleepy here. MMs trying to stir up some interest by marking the share price down by a penny this morning, ahead of the results which are due 2 weeks today.

One of the consolations in being invested in a very small and comparatively illiquid stock like ATL is that it is under most peoples radar except when it issues either positive or negative news.

As such it is one of the few stocks that I hold that has not been marked down by the MMs so far (don't want to tempt fate). Just to see a few lines of green breaking up the mass of red on my screen at the moment is a little comforting.

Lets hope we get positive update on 2007 prospects when last years results are published in March.

you are right it is in march as per previous years

i remembered early feb but just looked again and these were trading updates/statements
in 2006 when they made a loss they posted a pre trading statement in jan as they havent done this i would have thought results were going to be ok

thanks for your help and info

madasafisherman -

OK - just called them back as the answer to your querries above was "don't know". Spoke with Rupert Hutton this time (Finance director). He said there will be an RNS in the next couple weeks specifying the date - but it'll be 3td week of March.

He said that was when they always are & didn't seem very flustered. Since then looked at there RNS history - last year they announced the results would be on 15th March (& that announcement was on Feb 15th). Make of that what you will. From their web-site (

March 2007: Preliminary announcement for the annual results to 31st December 2006.
March 2007: Posting of annual report and accounts to
31st December 2006.

P.S. - You are the fisherman - feel free to call & fish for more info
