#dudam99, it will be interesting to see how it plays out.. but my take on it is we do owe Astor the money, that is fair, and we will pay it back on drip, over time, interest free, and that's a result.. :o)

To take the position that the clauses were never triggered so we never need to pay them is at best sharp practice..

IF Astor don't like the idea of waiting 6/7 years to get their EURO 43M they might want to bring payment forward and settle for a smaller number, possibly in shares as we scale up and aim for Touro.., maybe we can get rid of the EURO/DMT royalty fees too..

FY2017 financials due around month end, or early April which will reveal the Q4 profits at an average $3.09/lb Copper..

Q1-2018 average for Jan/Feb was $3.19/lb

As the March price recovers with the strikes/production outages digging we could see $3.25/lb for the quarter which will give us a good number to base profits on going forward..

$3.50/lb Copper by the Summer and we are minting it just in time to start paying Astor down..!

SBT, yes, as I said, at the sake of repeating myself for those that need it, odd that they had re-posted it today dated 9th March on the web site.

It's been widely reported that there are around 40 mines / unions in South America that have wage negotiations this year, and the predictions of strikes and Copper outages are starting to bite...Next stop $3.50 Copper.., and we're on the right side of that as it happens... :o)..

The Los Pelambres mine in Chile, which is on the brink of a strike, is the 12th largest copper mine in the world with annual output of c400kt copper per annum (more than 10 times the size of our little Rio Tinto mine)!

Massive 692 purchase in the closing auction knocked us up 2p.Good employment figures in the States and the Dow is back up.Widespread strikes in the Chilean mining industry on the cards. All in all not a bad end to the week and some good rugby to look forward to hopefully. What's not to like as they say these days.

I think it’s more likely to be end of financial year bed and breakfasting to rebalance someone’s CGT position - ie not a market transaction at all.

Well that’s enough of that party-pooper for now, I think.
In my mind, those comments do not assist us in the assessment of 0ur investment, more an environmental sermon, which has its place, but it’s not here guv.
