26/4/2020 11:59 | Boo hoo didn't release 15 million more shares at £15.60 each to all their big investors who are now selling for a huge profit and bringing the price down.Read the placing rns | ![]() peteret
24/4/2020 11:42 | Retail sales slumped 5.1% in March from February, versus expectations for a 4% fall. On the year, retail sales were down 5.8% against expectations of a 4.7% drop.Clothing sales were hit particularly badly, sliding 34.8% on the month, while food stores saw the strongest rate of growth on record last month, up 10.4% as people stockpiled ahead of the lockdown. The government lockdown forcing non-essential stores to close was implemented from 23 March.Rhian Murphy, head of retail sales at the ONS, said: "Retail sales saw their biggest monthly fall since records began over 30 years ago with large declines in clothing and fuel, only partially offset by strong food sales."Online-only retailers saw strong growth though, with many high street stores also unsurprisingly seeing a boost to web sales." | ![]() umitw

23/4/2020 14:40 | Summer collection won't sell much as people can't go out. When the situation gets better, every store will have large stocks of summer collection which is going to decrease margins and force heavy discounting in order to compete. I suspect profits wont be great, stock value should go down in the short/ medium term but rise back to £40-£50 in the long term | ![]() sagar424
23/4/2020 13:55 | Read my 16128 post.That's the only reason this is going down. | ![]() peteret
23/4/2020 13:47 | At the moment, but estimates are that the govt. will have to borrow ca. £500billion - that works out at about £30k for every family of four - and it's going to take a lot of paying back. Also the young people who like to buy these clothes are likely to bear the brunt of the coming unemployment. If they do have a job and live at home they will have to contribute to the family finances far more than in the past. | ![]() hosede
23/4/2020 13:09 | I have heard that people are bored at home and buying stuff! They can't go out to the shops, so it's Amazon, ebay etc. | ![]() rogthepodge
23/4/2020 12:49 | I'm afraid that once this is "all over" very few people will have money to spend on anything other than food, utilities and rent - you can't easily do without those. You CAN manage without new clothes - back to darning socks and patching elbows. Still nothing like as overvalued as BOOHOO | ![]() hosede

22/4/2020 09:42 | The rns was to create a ceiling on the price institutions paid and dodgy directors !!!Corruption springs to mind . They paid the closing price on the day !Remember zoo price doubling in one day and finishing unchanged because directors wanted to pay half the amount !!!Too much of this goes on and nothing is done about it .Sicknote | ![]() s34icknote

21/4/2020 14:02 | As I bought my first purchase at 1210p, that doesn’t bother me, I will just add more, my time frame is 2-5 years, I see ASC doing very well once the economies are open for business again, COVID, is a temporary disruption only. | ![]() ny boy

21/4/2020 11:00 | Primark sales have gone from £650M a month to ZERO Got to be good news for online ASOS + all the other high street multiples going belly up, music to ASOS’s ears. ASOS recently and successfully had a £247 Million placing, so very well placed to survive and thrive and gobble up any minor competition, if necessary Good long term play imo add on decent pull backs but dyor as usual | ![]() ny boy
