It could be a gap closing exercise by shorters, to get out with a lower share price buy back, who knows!

They peddle their agenda. It's called speculation. They control the market.

These opened at £33 and quickly went up to 33.93. At 8.47am they have just gone back down to 32.93.It's either a tree shake (on SETS?) or the analysts have figured out the drop in the margin is more relevant than we might have thought. Now at 3305 up just 0.17% since the open. I know they were up 10% in premarket but would have expected more even with lower margins with the 20% growth. beating analyst expectations of 15%

ASOS Total group revenue for the last 4 months 1,106.0 million
Boohoo Total group revenue for the last 4 months 473.7 million

I just don't understand the huge difference in market valuation - this has to re-rate at some point!?

Online retailer Asos beat the January blues with this morning’s trading statement as revenue grew 20 per cent across the group for the final four months of 2019.

The fashion firm said that the growth, which was consistent across all of its divisions, was due to record Black Friday sales.

Total sales hit £1.1bn, driven by increases in every geography of 20 per cent or higher, up from 895m in the same period in 2018.

In the UK, sales rose from £347.8m to £408.9m, whilst EU sales rose from £275.9m to £332.5m. The US continued to grow, reaching almost £140m this year.

THE USA GROWTH IS JUST ABOUT STARTING!!! GROWTH POTENTIAL IN THE USA IS HUGE CONSIDERING THAT THEY NOW HAVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE IN PLACE! THEY WILL EAT THE TRADITIONAL USA RETAILERS

usa population = 327.2 million
uk population = 66.44 million
