16/8/2019 14:34 | Agree, I can't see why Amazon would be interested in Asos. I can see how someone like Walmart might be though. Or closer to home Next. Asos is a strong brand and would help those retail giants diversify straight off the High Street into internet shopping. | peaksntroughs
15/8/2019 18:29 | I think it's changed for Amazon generally. They don't need to buy these companies now. This market place empowers people to sell everything. | cryptotrade
15/8/2019 18:28 | Retest of low | cryptotrade

15/8/2019 15:26 | US is going through recession concerns, ASOS Has just started a business there as well.It could be a concern that won't do well IMO. SALES ETC. | umitw
15/8/2019 13:39 | i just can't understand - how is this businss so different to boohoo? why is boohoo faring so much better when Asos should be a bigger business (yet comparable in structure?) | darius12
14/8/2019 21:04 | Amazon were never going to make a bid for ASC, why would they? What would they get that they don't already have and have better of? Infrastructure, Business Model, Stock? Besides no-one is going to bid 4x current share price! Maybe 30% premium on the current price, but looking at the financial situation of ASC, you wouldn't touch it with a barge pole at the moment. Debts of £600m and very little cash, CAPEX of 200m this year and next and very little profit. So debts will be 1bn by 2021 and profit?? Will they even be able to service the debt? The crazies will keep buying the share based on it being cheap compared to what it used to be, but they will not look at the fundamentals; my bet would be it will be below £20 within a matter of weeks. Make no mistake this is high risk as to whether they can sort out their issues and start making sufficient profit all against the backdrop of more and more competition. | madbadtrader

26/7/2019 08:30 | It's laughable with these analysts and their forecasts, I wish they knew what they were doing with the price of ASOS...,!Asos Plc : Citigroup cuts target price to 4200p from 5200p | umitw
26/7/2019 08:28 | * Asos Plc : HSBC cuts target price to 2430p from 4500p | umitw
25/7/2019 11:30 | A bid can always be on the cards as this is probably a good time with the share price. There are quite a lot of shorts out there who will have to close positions on any inclination. This will give the share price some fulctuation. Look for the opportunities and ride the waves and hope that your in if a bid turns up. | sago2
25/7/2019 09:41 | There is no bid news! If there was the directors would have had to tell us before they purchased shares or it amounts to insider trading. IMO this is either a short term trade play (in which case you need to have bought in when it sank to £20/21 in which case you would have made a nice little gain or the rise yesterday. Or sit back and wait for the logistics issues to be resolved and see it rise back above £40. There might be an opportunistic bid in the next few weeks but yesterday's rise was nothing to do with a bid. Again, all my opinion! | peaksntroughs
24/7/2019 23:42 | And if the news are indeed true, we’d expect a bigger spike when news are leaked Some hedge funds might get rekt big time - the short interest is currently at 4.87% | vasilescotianu
24/7/2019 20:07 | Stop miss-leading people, please Those are old news, from 2014 | vasilescotianu
24/7/2019 15:46 | Volume is still low for a news like that IMO. | umitw
24/7/2019 15:24 | News of bid leaked Maybe tomorrow with luck soooo could do with £50-£60 a share bid | middlesboroughfc |
