Be careful if you're planning to short, or are short, ASOS. Such a drop can easily bring about a 12-20% whipsaw bounce.

Need a bounce tomorrow here -

If it falls further then expect the retail sector to follow -

I assume the three day rule is that they nearly always continue to fall after a shock rns - especially if funds are forced to sell as their stop losses are triggered

Retail expert just been on sky news and pointed out that he believes the asc problem/s are purely down to all retailers "educating" their customers over a period of years that basically just wait for us to discount and then buy (ie Black Friday etc) hence hitting margins - nothing whatsoever to do with brexit concerns (" I am not buying a dress for the office christmas party because of brexit" ) doesn't figure in people's reasons but "a deal" well that is another story

Take your brexit debate or mudslinging to the other threads on ADVFN covering this matter. Best stick to retailing/on line retailing etc

What’s ASOS’s cash situation, is it substantive?

One issue is clearly the RETAIL environment is not likely to improve any time soon -

So as with other the VISIBILITY is very unclear -

However with the big fall in retailers there could be a bounce albeit temp -
