We resume coverage at an interesting juncture. FX pressures highlighted an inflexible ASOS model, and revised guidance points to what was an over-earning business. Although we believe ASOS can achieve its next ‘Staging Post’ for revenues and profits, in our view the route is not as risk-free as the market is discounting. We do not anticipate the same response to price cuts as the UK saw in 2012 while zonal pricing means ASOS is a business playing catch-up, not one with a USP. SELL.

IMHO, we will need to retest a few more times, but is at risk of dropping back on the process. Reforming a base at around 28 would be fine. Once 30 quid goes however, then whoosh up it will go I suspect. Today was a bit of battlefield between short and longs, so fifty fifty in the medium term.

Not too worried about your intraday price targets either but if you need me to pull a figure out it would be 32 and I might wake up. Thing that hurts is the daily borrow cost but given I am tight as a ducks ...
