16/11/2005 07:54 | Got a mention in IC this week. Outlook strong - fairly priced | flc
17/10/2005 16:50 | I notice that Mr Tchenguiz is in the news again - Somerfield acquisition. Just found this interesting post on a weblog watching the project extranet world. The writer appears to think Asite may be well-placed to pick up work from Somerfield if - big 'if' perhaps - Tchenguiz exerts some shareholder influence to replace a system from Autodesk (one of the beauties of being an ASP is that customers can turn off one system and switch to another at short notice, with minimal penalties, and with no lost capex). | gresty
17/10/2005 13:23 | Not sure they are a franchise operation, Excalibar. Depending on which bit of the business you look at, they can be described as an application service provider (ASP) - which, in essence, provides a software solution via the web on a rental basis to a customer's project team (Asite's collaboration solutions fall into this category) - or as a trading exchange - enabling businesses to locate suppliers of goods and services and then use the web as a means to complete transactions (with Asite taking a fee or commission on the supplier listing and transaction). | gresty
07/10/2005 17:51 | The way I look at it asite are a sort of franchise for IT. is that right | excalibar
03/10/2005 19:21 | Exotic thanks again. I had this email reply from Mr Ashworth; Thank you for your mail, I appreciate your concerns. The specific charge is a means by which Mr Tchenguiz can secure his loans that he has made to the company. Mr Tchenguiz has agreed not to seek repayment prior to that date, as this is required for Asite to be able to satisfy the going concern requirement of the company. The increase in gross turnover was less than desired but we did manage to increase our nett revenue by 53% through selling our own software rather than other vendors. Costs when looking at costs please remember that in the first half of 2004 the group capitalised £471,000 of development costs. In 2005 we have capitalised nil development costs so one should take account of this in comparing the cost base. Additionally In the first half of 2005 we have accrued the cost of the parting CEO, Tom Dengenis, so the costs are higher than what one would expect. | future earner
02/10/2005 20:55 | Intellectual Property. In this case, source code to all the company's software. | exotic
02/10/2005 20:13 | exotic. The groups IP becomes his in 18 months. What's IP? Thanks for your posts. | future earner
30/9/2005 22:28 | They have 15 months before Mr. Robert Tchenguiz can demand repayment of a £722,000 loan. Otherwise the group's IP becomes his. Will they make it? Turnover up 1% to just £793,000. The Group's operating loss of £959,000 in the six months ended 30 June 2005 compares with a loss of £843,000 in the six months ended 30 June 2004. Hmmmmmmmmm........ | exotic
30/9/2005 21:02 | Not what I'd hoped for....can't see the positives if any.....all these % mean diddly on such low numbers....can't get up beat will try to contact Gordon Ashworth on Monday to ask questions. Let me know if there are any I can ask on your behalf. Cheers Kv. | future earner

28/9/2005 15:28 | theres been no trades so far today, i think the spread is off putting at 30% 1.75p-2.5p buyers are not being attracted, there may well be a purpose in that, or it may well be mm greed that is in play here, either way it does no good for the investor let alone the company, its time there was some serious FSA action on spreads, but i doubt the fsa will do anything at all. | vision88

01/8/2005 20:22 | Looks like we're heading back to 2p...the nearv 100% rise was'nt anything to do with volume, just speculation of build with the 2012 olympics.....Just have to wait for more positives but me thinks 2p....more news....then hopefully see a climb with more substantible volume..all the best. | future earner
16/7/2005 11:18 | sarscars...I have to agree, also by now the market should have settled to the CEO resignation which was the main reason behind the fall. Still a long way to go on this BABY....a lot of sleeples nights, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end. B lucky | future earner
