23/10/2018 13:22 | I'm with you 2LB. The BoD's need to regain the faith and credibility it took decades to earn but to then throw it away in less that 4 hours. They need to think very carefully how they address shareholders concerns going forward and do not jump in bed with a two bit interview without firstly knowing what to communicate. Its really not hard to give the interviewer a set of questions posed by shareholders, and respond with a precise definition of the way forward. To release both of the last weeks RNS' within minutes of each other was a pre-planned shambles and even more so when they didn't address the news that they never bothered to tell us of the impending court case, whether legal or not. Instead they tweeted everyone else' news and kept their shareholders in the dark. Most of the above was last week and now behind us. What they need to do now is to firstly release a 'project update' as to what they are going to drill, where they are going to drill & when they are going to drill. Added also must be a concise account of finances of how we are to pay for this, is a JV a realistic approach, what the current funds are along with our current & future CAPEX, and this for each asset we have. Only once they've done this in a professional manner should they even remotely think about ever going on video again or perhaps bring in someone that can speak & address themselves far better than those two did last week. My faith remains with the BoD's but please, think before taking the next step forward and communicate with your company owners, ie us shareholders. | dorset64
23/10/2018 12:51 | For those that missed it, here's the subtle nod that snicker dog refers to: "As such Asiamet is evaluating various options including partnering to test this deeper potential and more rapidly progress the development of Beutong in the near term." 'various options' 'rapidly progress' 'near term' | aim0raider
23/10/2018 12:45 | Thanks to a healthy dose of incompetence in regards of the management of comms a LOT of shares were bought up in the 5.5p - 6.5p range and we can expect to see a healthy amount of these flipped for a short term profit below 7p. Early Xmas present from the BoD to traders at the expense of the LTH who will now rightly expect something done to restore their own faith. As TM has often said , it’s not possible / too risky to trade ARS - tell that to those who bought and sold the 80m shares on Thursday and Friday I want to see a clear plan communicated , and quickly , and a better interview articulating it and setting a few points straight such as the Beutong license | 2lb
23/10/2018 12:30 | SOS, with $4 reported at interims I don't think that they will need it right now looks like they have enough to get on with things at BKM for the moment, pressing the bottom later down the line would probably be wiser than at these prices. Asiamet have always been well treated with raises anyway and I wouldn't expect this to change | snickerdog
23/10/2018 12:26 | Returning to KSK is also key as the pipeline of other opportunities is quite enviable - any hint of further BKZ type prospects could be well rewarded by the market and its these which I think could really move the needle. Imagine finding another BKM type resource at KSK. Market panic and jitters are going to be short term IMO | snickerdog
23/10/2018 12:24 | kja-if your asking me about a placing price? any reasons why they couldn't have got one away, at maybe 9p? The share had been trading at the 9-10.5p range for a long time,so it's not like we'd have been shocked.. if they need cash now then it's anyone guess what price will be.. | sos100
23/10/2018 12:24 | As far as BKM concerned and the additional geotechnical holes which they want to drill - that can only be a good thing if it further increases the confidence of the resource (through bringing inferred into measured and indicated) and strengthens the economic case - most probably popping the BFS out in a stronger copper price environment as well. Once the get going there will be plenty of newsflow from BKM I am sure | snickerdog
23/10/2018 12:21 | With increasing competition for copper deposits of scale potentially only a matter of time before another party shows interest in partnering to take Beutong forward. Quite a subtle nod to this in the last Beutong related RNS | snickerdog
23/10/2018 12:19 | Agree fully with your post MT but I think that was always the plan. With the new understanding of Beutong in that the two porphyry deposits BEP and BWP join, that they extend laterally and that there might be something even bigger at depth, they have proved that they may only be scratching the surface of this thing and that it is indeed globally significant. | snickerdog
23/10/2018 12:18 | At what price would you suggest they did that? | kjawoogie
23/10/2018 12:18 | I have spoken to the team and would also add I am expecting an update very soon on the wider targets at KSK and the proposed drilling programme around BKM. I'm looking forward to having that to talk about | kjawoogie
23/10/2018 11:34 | kjawoogie-don't think we would be seeing these levels if the company had done a smallish placing just as cover and to protect the share price. pretty ameuterish considering how much they've kept saying we're undervalued.. | sos100
23/10/2018 11:26 | MT, you should offer your services to the co for investor comms. You bring clarity to the mess but really the bod need to grab the situation by the horns here. | mr roper
23/10/2018 11:16 | They carried out a programme of drilling this year on Beutong and following modelling of the results determined the likelihood of a high grade porphyry core necessitating evaluation through expensive deep drilling - something not possible in the short/medium term without taking on a partner. The early BKM cash flow was ear-marked for a potential heap-leach starter operation at Beutong - the new strategy will enable shareholders to both evaluate the deeper potential of Beutong and fast track a potential starter operation. Likewise, with the new strategy, future BKM cash flow can be used exclusively to further evaluate and develop the numerous high potential prospects in the surrounding district. Taken as a whole - the strategy change offers shareholders the prospect of seeing the assets monetised more quickly - something i as a long term investor is pleased about because the copper market cycle like a river tide waits for no one! | mount teide
23/10/2018 11:11 | Nicely put Khawaja. As for the many others suggesting they might fire one off to Tony , well, do it. We have many terrifically well informed posters here, contact the Board and let loose. | monttim
23/10/2018 11:01 | Still a lot of negativity on the boards. Personally I've done my research following events last week and am positive about the future of the company. Yes there are some things that could have been handled much better but I think we all under appreciate the amount of work that is required to do a BFS and the hours the team are working. All I would say is that we are incredibly lucky to have Tony Manini and suggestions he is not bothered about asiamet or it's just a side project couldn't be further from the truth. Tony still feels this has potential to get to a billion dollar market cap and we still have the suite of assets. We need a better copper price a lot of hard work and a bit of luck on the way. I am looking forward to seeing what the plan is for KSK. Not many appreciate quite what Asiamet have there | kjawoogie
23/10/2018 10:51 | It's been a patience testing 4-5 months, hasn't it? Edit: Would very much appreciate if those of you corresponding with the BODs could share any learnings. | arhaych
23/10/2018 10:15 | 9.9% drop completely undeserved, has just come into weak market can see this easily going back up as soon as activity begins again | snickerdog
23/10/2018 10:14 | I just topped up. Some will call me mad but this looks quite cheap on the recovery curve now. | charles clore
23/10/2018 10:10 | Cyber, if there's no update this week I'll be firing one off at the weekend. | mr roper
23/10/2018 10:08 | Get in there tec! | charles clore
23/10/2018 10:07 | I think perhaps a few of us should drop an email to the management with our comments, rather than complaining on here? | cyberbub |
