Mining sector investment risk - if the DRC and Zimbabwe is 10 and the USA and Europe 1, i would place Indonesia under our Aussie management with long Indonesian mining sector experience as 3-4.

A large drop in mining company foreign investment and technical expertise in the globally important Indonesian mining sector occurred some 10-15 year ago, and led to a material drop in industrial metal production over the following years.

This production decline was entirely self inflicted and occurred as a result of the Indonesian Government introducing major changes to the regulation of the industry, much of which they have since revoked or scaled back after witnessing its impact and wishing to avoid missing out from the global recovery of the industry underway since 2016.

Some boards, which are overrun with rampers, do need a counterweight - somebody who is willing to question the stream of guff which tends to draw inexperienced investors. I have been that counterweight on other boards, and i don't feel guilty for it.

But this board seems to be above that.

Wow I look away for an hour and a cabal of idiots turn up bus fashion. The price will very soon start it's next leg up and watch them all disappear just as quick. Sad and pathetic the lengths people will go to for money. No need either. I do very well and never feel the need to go round slamming shares even those that are completely 5hit! It smacks of desperation, lack of imagination, talent and any form of moral compass. The chart tells me this will start the journey north next week..

To be fair you can just google this board, you don't need a registration to view posts. Regardless, there's no point providing a response to the question.

arsmad, how on earth could you be reading the posts of other people on this thread when you weren't even registered to enter the site of ADVFN?

Oh dear. That time had to come... when the idiots arrive on this relatively sensible board.

Time for the filter button.

Cupid I'm new to this board but have held shares in ARS since last September and always read the posts on here but it comes to a stage when certain people do is hype this share up because they were in at a very low price, if these people could answer this one then, how comes every time we get excellent news the share price rises and then ends up minus on that day and continues to down like the recent news went to 12,33 now 11.36.

According to the interview with Steve last time, the silver mountain drilling was condemnation drilling so it is unclear what will come out of that.

Cant wait for beutong and silver mountain results very shortly as i need to top up at 8p, as the per usual as soon as we receive good news the price goes down. we really need bad news for this to go up 100%.

I agree. Bought my first lot of 300,000 a while ago at prices of between 1.9 and 3p. Topped up at 4.5, 6 and 11.0p. 100k at a time so I'm hugely in profit, but Like many here I'm not selling for a while. I don't need the money but happy to give it to family.
