Well, where it comes to Jeremy Corbyn Mr R I think you and I are singing from the same hymn sheet to coin a phrase!!As regards de risking this share I think we are pretty much there already... as I write this post I have no doubts that the management are already in advanced discussions with backers as they have an excellent track record of taking projects like this into production and given how advanced this project is to meet the copper deficit I could argue that they will be banging asiamets door down!!Have a fab weekend all, my bacon is getting fried in the sun so I'm off to wallow in mud.

Mrpiggy, because Citizen Corbyn hasn't enacted his Marxist plans yet. I've already planned for most scenarios. I'll have it offshore before he can fire the Queen

I think once the licence is granted and a strategic partner is announced, there will be much less risk to go from a short term trade to a long term hold

Then why invest if that's what you believe Mr R??I have all my shares in an ISA including my pension so no one can get their snout into my trough, I'm greedy.... it's a pig thing!!What I'm trying to say to you all is don't be so short sighted and see the bigger picture! This is a perfect storm for all who are wise enough to buy and HOLD ARS and the management will make you very wealthy if you allow them to. Buy your shares and cling the fxxx on to them till at least 2020, you will be rewarded handsomely. You could set a sell order on them all for £5 to stop your broker using them for shorting, then adjust accordingly to your target once it nears £5.

SCARED OF BECOMING WEALTHY?I am a pig and by my nature I am greedy, in fact very greedy!Just like ourselves humans are greedy too but exceptionally stupid! So please allow me to explain a few FACTS to you so you don't become more stupid than you already are!!1.The mining giants are running out of mines good grade copper ore with tonnage causing a copper deficit beginning in 2018.... By 2020 you will need a telescope to see where copper prices were!2.Virtually NO new mines coming on line in that time frame to fill the deficit....Asiamet being one of a handful with Beautiful grades and tonnage.3.Its location is perfect for the Chinese and Asian markets.4.We have a management team with Manini and Bird who are second to none and have a proven track record of developing exploration projects into producers and finding the financial backing to see the project through.I hear pi's talking about when we reach 16p, 25p etc... Jeez, give me strength... Between 2020-2022 this will be trading between £5-£10 and you are all FAR to short sighted to see it with exception of a few.Rant over.... A Pig.

Personally I would not go near GWMO - snickerdog has nailed it in three lines - poor quality project being ramped off a low MCAP and broker has taken advantage with a placing - it has very little future as an investment but many traders will make hay on it.

ARS has defied the MM attack very well today....

Mcpaulas - too much hot money in that one who don't understand mining, grades etc. That one is very poor by comparison - 0.5% grades, deep small maiden resource just modelled from holes out in 4 years ago. Asiamet one of the most quality mining stocks on AIM. Quality rises to top.

GWMO is unfolding as another copper play with some upside potential, bought a few after the placing news when it dropped off to 131 managed 135.Have been in and out all week but now think its stabilised.

Encouraging trading action. If we can stay at or around these levels today then I personally think we have seen the bottom (barring any bad news of course).NAI

Ayesha has one of those 'Mug me' on his forehead, but someone decided to just put MUG instead.

About right too.

Sooooooo many people here talking their own book, when ever the share price drops we're having a fundraising or its the BoD's fault as the licence is late, then when we are rising its because copper itself is flying and the world is about to be in deficit.

If you invest in Ars then hold your shares until you see a fundamental change, other than that ignore daily movements.

I never use stop losses. The MMs can either directly see them, or can guess they are there (round numbers etc) and go 'fishing' for them. If they can make £50 on the spread by catching someone's £10K holding and then selling it again a few seconds later, that's how they make a living. They're not interested in whether that creates a big loss for someone. Not to say I don't have a 'mental' stop loss level, but I will never set up a 'formal' automatic stop loss. It's like stamping 'Mug Me' on my forehead.

SOS100,

Ayshea explained that he/she only sold because he/she had to, which is apparently quite different from selling voluntarily. I'm not aware that he/she is back in, but he/she is still hanging around dispensing occasional wisdom, which makes you wonder why he/she had to sell.

mcpaulas,

Thank you for sharing your investment philosophy. Two questions:-

a) What if ARS doesn't drop, but pops up to 5p or higher, will you be able to get back in again or will you settle for the 500k you retain?

b) Would you share the name of your new investment opportunity, I'm always looking for a chance to make money. If it's better than ARS, it must be a corker.

adorling,

Lucky you, we were in Bali for a week in Feb and it's fab. An Aussie mate of mine told me about this song from 30 years and I've even got a T-shirt with it on:-

I agree with a Dorling. We must ignore short term movements unrelated to any change in the fundamentals.I'm planning to buy another 1million if the price dips to 3p After that I'll go for another mill if price drops below 2p.At the moment I have 2mill Big G

I personally wouldn't go posting that you've sold,Ayesha did the same at 2p only to see the stock jump to 5p..
This has never been a short term play..

Trigger-in relation to your post below

if you've done your research(talking in general terms)and are prepared to hold at least until production starts then these daily share price movements as annoying as they are not so important..

btw-if you've been here for sometime then you really can't take the likes of Ayesha seriously...

Sorry to hear that Ron, yes I think it may have been a shake by MMs perhaps settling their books before any resource upgrade is delivered

Ron I don't bother with stop losses on aim. If I'm in I'm in until I decide to sell. I had similar experiences to yourself many years ago with a company called Mecom and lost my holding one morning only to see the price recover before close. Unless you are spread betting then in that case it's all part of the game I'm afraid.
