Kind of wishing I had opened a spread bet on copper a few days ago. Not going to do it now as it would no doubt put the kiss of death on the whole rally. :)

Just added a few more although seem to have payed top price on my delayed trade feed compared with earlier trades today so hopefully due another tick up soon.

Edit just noticed the ask was raised just before I bought. Doh!

The Donald is going to go big on infrastructure spending. I suspect most of the worlds govts will follow. Copper is going to be in serious demand. 3-4years TMs 39p might have a 1 in front of it

That's the list right there Rich - hence why Nov / Dec / Jan are such massive months for Asiamet - even more so now with a surging core commodity price.

And the heap leach results, licence conversion confirmation, JV, funding and resource upgrade are all due in the next 10 weeks... some of it due anytime. They have some great assets.

The investor meet was awesome btw (you can see by the demand for shares the next few days)... if you get the chance to meet him then do. He took the time to explain to me how NPV works and why they have invested in this drilling program to find and extract the high value stuff first. It's all about cash flows and the relationship that has to the NPV/NAV of the company. I recon they'll put a large amount of value on the NPV... tens of millions.

Yeah... we asked him outright what a low ball offer was. He said he'd not let it go for less than 300M$ because that's what it worth in its current state.

more importantly, if Chinese demand picks up and infra spending takes off, there will be a bun fight for copper assets nearing production. This is the point where a cheap takeaway becomes a very dangerous possibility. If a 6p bid came in now I would not be taking it...I'd be looking for 16p.

Indeed - deficit already certain and could be hugely accelerated both in terms of timescale and magnitude.

An already critical 3 months for ARS just got a whole lot more important...

2LB, if this continues. TM will need big partners to fast track BKM and Beutong.

exciting times. If infra spending kicks off globally, the copper price will soar (ahead of TM's timelines...)
