Cyber - a £ million is enough for me but I said I would only start to sell some at 17p and probably save my last million shares for when Tony sells ARS for £1.85 ($1.5 billion market cap) like he has done before in previous Companies.

Adorling I would think you would be being pessimistic to start selling at 17p IMO 30p maybe, if you're willing to wait. Up to you of course!

"Investors bet on copper as electric car race hots up"

Their interest has already led to big share price gains for companies that are searching for deposits in new and challenging locations.

These include SolGold, an Ecuador-focused explorer, and Ivanhoe Mines, the latest venture of mining entrepreneur Robert Friedland. Nevsun Resources, Atalaya Mining and Georgian Mining are other companies attracting attention".

“You are going to need a telescope to see the copper price by 2020,” Mr Friedland told investors in London earlier this month.

“It took $10,000 a tonne copper and super-normal margins to lift production from 15m to 20m tonnes during the commodities super cycle [between 2003 and 2013]. At the very least, that is going to be required again,” he says.

Irrational exuberance? What irrational exuberance?

In inflation adjusted terms the footsie 100 would need to rise over 60% from its current level before it got above its 2000 peak.

As an inflation hedge a FTSE tracker has been a horror investment for nearly 2 decades - although spare a thought for Japanese retirement funds invested in NIKAI Index trackers, which in inflation adjusted terms are some 75% down over the last 30 years, and were down an eye-watering 90% at one point during the last 20 years!

Not crazy. These are interesting times.

There are quite a few pundits who feel a crash is coming; yield curves and the rest.
There are those who feel that after a big rise on the Dow and FTSE etc we must correct downwards.

I see things differently.

In my view, the FTSE may have risen from 5,600 to 7,600 in eighteen months, but the fact is that we have been going sideways for seventeen years since 2000!. It's about time we made some progress!

There is an industrial revolution going on. Solar, Wind, Bio energy. Electric Cars, driverless cars, genetic advances, wireless, photonics, InfraRed, CPV (advanced solar), power switching, LEDs and advanced electronics, vcsel's (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) applications, robotics...

There's a whole new world evolving which may make a lot of people uncomfortable but which will be a powerhouse for (mainly western) economies.

In the past 200 years it has rarely paid to be pessimistic.
This is not one of those times.

CC - I will start to take my profits off the table when we are at 17p to sell and it will probably take me several months as the price continues to strengthen after that.

Crazy not to see the real story unfold in ARS being a copper producer just as the copper price explodes! Right place, right time, right Company, right reward.

It will definitely happen for ARS, just a case of when but not if!

copper breaking out now good summary above

just astonishing market cap at £30m when yo consider in 18 months ish time we could be starting production of 25,000T pa from BKM

25000 * $6000MT = $150M revenue pa (5 * mcap) pa!

Just absorb that thats one project......!

Xxxxx, rest assured I've not sold a single share and at this time I remain a buyer not a seller. Irrespective, as a director by law I have continuous disclosure obligations on all share transactions including anyone I am likely to have influence over. It is frustrating we are struggling to break through 5p level but there will always be investors who for various reasons want to sell and take profits. Eventually those volumes will be absorbed and we will break higher. That's the nature of markets. Regards Tony

Irrational selling despite excellent news flow!Good morning equals/all.It would be fair to say that we have all put forward theories as to why this is happening but we must remember that many will have bought this stock at not much more than a penny and will still be in massive profit even at this level coupled with delisting from asx Canadian sellers.I wasn't overly concerned till I saw Tony Manini's name pop up as a board member on another copper discovery website and my mind went into overtime, what if the seller could be..... ?I didn't want to see one of the disclosure RNS's and see the share price go way way south so I emailed Tony to ease my mind as he is a legend in mining and the main reason why I switched from solgold!I have his permission to cut and paste his email reply.
