another 24-30mths wait for that, hawks..

saying that, if the copper market hits deficit and the price skyrockets, TM will be trying to bat suitors off so in the interim period of mine construction, we may get an offer impossible to refuse. Interesting times ahead...

I am waiting to see ARS become a commodity and actually producing the copper, then we will see some movement past 12p. Time will tell.

2Lb, I put up some numbers in Nov that showed that with copper at 2.75 we should be nearer 10-12p just for BKM. If the resource update knocks the current PEA numbers out the ballground, then what...lol..Double it?

You can see how pretty quickly, TM can get to his 30p minimum..

Completely possible IMO.

There are a number of factors that could align / be announced in quick succession that would see us hit 12p and beyond......

Certainly a very viable end of 2017 target at the very least.

2.73-2.75 for copper is the hurdle it needs to jump..

Post on LSE:This has to cause a spike stand by. The Indonesian subsidiary of Freeport-McMoRan has still not obtained approval to export copper concentrates, and may have to reduce production by as much as 40% if it fails to secure the required permission.

They will end up paying it anyway in the end ! Plus they would have had a week/month with no wage bill at bad copper prices .

oki, then they'd have to pay the workforce even more with the higher copper price...

The resource at BKM continues to surprise. So much so that a strip ratio of sub 1:1 has been mentioned as a possibility! So that would mean for every one tonne of ore less than one tonne of waste material would have to be mined. A lower strip ratio essentially means more cash comes out of the ground for less expenditure

Their primary problem is increasing costs due to degrading deposits - what they wouldn't give for BKM metrics of a 1:1 strip ratio and near surface deposits !!

I Know what im going to say is very bad but if i was the management team at Escondida i would cause a strike as the amount the copper price would rise would be way more than losing a weeks or even a months production ! The copper price would fly and they would be just a month behind schedule but getting paid way more for what they are mining .

Copper still banging off resistance at $2.7. If it gets through then expect a rapid rise to $3 IMO.

Prior to, I think, August 2013, AIM shares did not qualify for ISAs, but a company which had a dual listing, where the other listing was on a stock exchange that qualified, meant that an ISA holding of some shares with an AIM listing was possible.
