ARS in the right place at the right time - it will come good in 2017 and beyond...read the following forecast on copper in the mining.com link!

just to add to the earlier post, i-d suggest that if Beutong is not sorted out by April we should divest our interest completely. Same with Jelai. The added distraction should not be allowed to impact on progressing BKM in what is the most important year to date fore the company.

I doubt that TM has made an ARS out of listing in AIM, someone with his knowledge knows what he is getting into. If he starts selling shares in bulk at a low price I might panic but until then I wish him well and will hold on tight. I have missed out on a few 10 baggers so am due at least one before the dark days come.
A happy and prosperous year to all Asiamet Resources holders and a thanks to those who are better that I at researching mining companies.

not impossible cyber but i think the next 3-4mths should give us a pretty good idea of how this will pan out..

Planned updates for the first 1/4 of 2017
Beutong IUP conversion
Beutong exploration drilling

BKM
Ops update
Exploration update
Resource update
Interim Feasibility update

Jelai IUP conversion

If all those come in, we shouldn-t have to worry about your points above.
However, if we get to April and are still waiting for Beutong and Jelai then i wouldn-t be surprised to see the delays impacting the share price.
BKM is in our own hands so should be the focus of 99% of the business.

TM needs to hit the ground running in Jan.

The only thing making me slightly twitchy is whether:(a) if the share price is still languishing seriously undervalued after the BFS, TM might delist us from AIM? It wouldn't be the first time that a CEO had left AIM in disgust at the manipulation and shady dealing that is rampant on AIM. To be fair, if he decided to relist on the ASX and we all ended up with the same number of shares, I wouldn't be complaining - the Aussies know how to properly value a mining company in their own backyard...(b) if the share price is still around or below 3p in 6 months time, EMR or whatever they're called could take us out for 4p say, and rob shareholders of the massive upside. That would imply some sort of shady deal by TM, I don't know whether he's that sort of guy, people on this board seem to think not...Still, it's really hard to see any downside from 2.3p, which is something... unless there is some bad news, not sure what that would be, as long as the copper price is trending upwards the only significant downside risk is probably from Indonesian politics?Any comments welcome.

Well, the year end predictions failed to materialise other than the 2.3p shout from October........

Somewhat dragged backwards with delays throughout H2 in 2016 so on the plus side at least that means there is a mass of stuff to come through in Q1 2017.

BKM drilling update overdue and not really surprised that Beutong did not materialise as I think that was a definite case of over optimism on TM's behalf.

All to play for and happy to be invested here for the year ahead.

I am looking for ARS to establish itself in the 6p-8p range by the half year.

Lol..Adorling, tongue in cheek. can't see the gold price making a massive differences to jelai. Would expect 1-2m tops for the license. An update on Beutong would be good as TM has been telling all and sundry it'll be bagged by tomorrow

Shame we did not see Beutong licence come through as Tony had hoped and thought. Guess it will be a busy Q1 for ARS newsflow with several Feasibility study updates as well as Beutong and Jelai licences - let's hope gold starts another Bull run soon!

Nice way to frame it cyberbub

We are pretty much already guaranteed to be in the success category so I am very confident this is a great long term investment

Remember there has been approaching $100M invested in exploration and resource development here over the years.Given how risky the early exploration stage is, it's very much like venture capital odds. Investors know that probably 5 out of 10 projects will fail, 3 will break even in investment terms, 1 will do well and 1 will do spectacularly. Those latter 2 have to make enough money to compensate for the 5 total losses and return a high profit overall. So the 9th has to be a 3-bagger, and the 10th has to be a 10+ bagger...Given the stage that ARS is at, with a huge proven resource being advanced through the final stages to BFS, I suggest that we are either the 9th or the 10th... and that even if we are only the 9th, then a 3-bagger from $100M would still give a share price of 30p if we were sold after the BFS was issued...NAI

Ignore the trades over the days post placing as all sorts of things will be going on including ISA trades , rollovers , late reporting etc.Give it a week to settle down then wait for the increased interest and activity as newsflow picks up
