What kicked this off this morning was the 200k buy.

Cu bounced a bit but not the main driver. The next 3 months should be defining in terms of value accretive news so a good time to get in.

Hopefully it won't go to crazy just yet. Was hoping to continue building a small position through November. Got half now with 100k shares so it's a start and a good base for my small ISA pot. Was very impressed with the interviews I listened to and lets just hope it comes to fruition. He certainly sounds like he means business and is very experienced, got the cv etc.

Have bought some this morning but my stockbroker is on kill or fill. Hopefully it'll settle down later and I can get a few more.

A few bombed out resource stocks starting to look " perky". Interesting that the $100 fall of the gold price over the last 2 months isn't reflected in many gold stocks that have hardly come off, with many starting to move again. It's as if the market thinks PM's will soon be higher. Just need Cu to get moving.

guess its worth remembering that last placement to private investors was oversubscribed and at 3.1p Those same investors would be pretty unhappy IMO if new investors buy a chunk for less with the company in arguably a stronger position. Although not out of the question I find it difficult to envisage that particular scenario.

2LB I think you're probably right, any modest further placing could easily be at a premium to today's ridiculous share price... or the right release of news could get the share price up substantially anyway!

Bloomin eck, Charles. 15p would be just the ticket

No way will any raise over the new 2-3 months be at a material discount , I believe TM could command a premium and had plenty of options. I'd even be happy for him to sub us personally at a generous interest rate....

Mr R - because if the market got wind of it the price would suddenly rise to more like 15p. They might still consider that a bargain and I certainly wouldn't object!

Strangest thing to me is with an share price as depressed as this why none of the interested investors/partners/ Chinese investors are not just thinking that for 5-6p they'd have a fair chance of bagging the lot.

Don't see why. Raise £2M at say 2p = another 100M shares. A modest 15% dilution, but then the company would be set up with no cash requirement at all until the time came to raise the main cash for BKM construction.Personally I think it's prudent to work on a likely 1bn shares when the mine gets into production. I don't see that as any problem. Companies become listed in order to raise money.Even on 1bn shares the company could easily be worth a few hundred million dollars when it goes into production. Anywhere up to 25p +GLA NAINAI

I fear if an equity raise is done at this price - however small - will shaft the share price for a very long time.
