02/2/2005 09:55 | There's the reason for the earlier drop. At least that's another seller gone. | the knowing
02/2/2005 09:49 | addict he did...the only reason he is here is because I am. | the knowing
02/2/2005 09:46 | dell, You didn't answer my question-are you a holder? | addict
02/2/2005 09:43 | addict - Charting is an art open to much interpretation IMO. If a chartist gets it wrong, he assumes that he has made an interpretational error, so that his faith in the charts is not affected. I'm sure there are some useful signs to be found but they clearly aren't foolproof.... This clearly isn't the place for a lengthy discussion on the merits of charting but realistically, if charting was an exact science, then your average chartist would be jostling with Bill Gates and Warren Buffet for a position in the World's Richest people table..... Most of my negative comments are aimed at the nonsense spouted by the sickening pump'n'dumper, Knowing, rather than aimed at the stock. I enjoy sensible debate about stocks, but when he is around, threads just get filled with total drivel, such as "tick up soon ;-)", "expecting news" etc. Even ASR long term holders have temporarily vanished, as any attempt at reasonable balanced discussion is quashed immediately by the Knowing with his incessant ramping.. Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. P.S. Nash - thanks for your response. However, I am reminded of a chartist's conference where the presenter randomly selected a few charts, covered over the latter halves and then asked the assembled chartists to predict future share price direction. The results were very mixed... | dell314
02/2/2005 09:33 | dell.. exactly investor psychology.. and the sum total of the strategies of all investors involed in ASR produces what.... the chart above! When is a company accuratly valued, based on earnings, future earnings, PE of 10, 20, 50... the share price reflects what the market as a whole rates the share as. I'm not saying ASR can achieve SP's of 2002, I only identify lines of influence.. like the long term resistance and the potential from the Trading Update... it gives me an idea of where the share price is and where it could go. | nash jf
02/2/2005 09:28 | dell314, I'm sure Nash will provide his own response, but FWIW my understanding from other chartists is that the charts take account of all info in the public domain. You seem to be providing various negative comments at every opportunity on this company-are you a holder?? | addict
02/2/2005 09:21 | Nash - aren't there around twice as many shares as when the share price was at higher levels? Therefore, whilst your chart may provide some indication of investor psychology, it is incapable of allowing for the fact that earnings per share(if and when ASR make a profit) would be much less than they would, than when there were considerably less shares in issue... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
02/2/2005 09:20 | Not if your Google ;-) | the knowing
02/2/2005 09:17 | addict... you can ask hebgb about TRT where I predicted 88p when 70p hadn't been breached for almost 2 years.. but it got there and a little more besides. At the moment these figures are only potential, unfortunately the results could easily bring a retrace.. seems to be the nature of the investor.. sell on facts, even positive ones. | nash jf
02/2/2005 09:12 | Nash J F, Let's hope you're at least 1/2 right.Based on history,have your assessments been substantially correct-if so,time I bought the software! | addict
02/2/2005 09:06 | So the upside from here is: 50% (4.5p) - 233% (10p) | nash jf
02/2/2005 09:02 | Plenty of interest here today.. looks good for nice recovery. Looking at the chart - yes we have broken the short term down trend and a run at 4.5 looks nailed on. The dotted line we are at could be slight resistance but once above it should become support and this could take us through the long term red line resistance at 4.5p in a couple of months time. The maximum bullish potential price from the reaction to the Trading Update is 10p, but wether we get a chance to test it depends on the results. | nash jf
02/2/2005 09:00 | Knowing - If you believe that, then surely you should buy some more? Let's see you put your money where your mouth is and top up at this price. You've already stated that this is "one to tuck away"... Surely, you're not just trying to pull in a few more buyers, so you can sell out and run off ready for your next pump'n'dump?? Everyone's waiting for you to show the way....... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
02/2/2005 08:47 | It has now broken out of the down channel for sure. The interesting thing is the 350K buy yesterday...why ? and the way the MMs are marking this up on little volume. | the knowing
02/2/2005 08:45 | Two Palms, Check the time of your buy-add 1 hour and there it will be...lol! | addict
02/2/2005 08:43 | L2: changed at 8.35am 1 x 3p bid (WINS) vs 3 x 3.25p offer my 100k buy at 2.94p still not showing | two palms
02/2/2005 08:40 | Here we go! | 365
02/2/2005 08:40 | Being No. 5 on the leader board should get a few more eyes pointing this way. | hebgb
02/2/2005 08:38 | Knowing - are you getting ready to dump yet? Something tells me that you bought yours at around 2.5p and hell would freeze over, before you paid the current price for them. Am I right? Go on; show everyone you're genuine and do a real top up(Not just your usual "thinking about topping up" post).... Rgds dell | dell314
02/2/2005 08:37 | That's more like it | quinan
02/2/2005 08:33 | As I said earlier,the true selling price is 2.75p already...lol. | addict
02/2/2005 08:30 | So in reality they held back the 350K for today to show the rise. Need a few buys to see that bid rise and then people will surely take note. | the knowing |
