Outlook for 2024:

The business is now on a more balanced trajectory with 2023 proving to be an exceptional year. The Group also believes that in 2024 there are no significant tailwinds in its major corridors.

As a result, the Group expects Total Gross Income for 2024 to be marginally down compared to last year, while continuing to demonstrate double-digit growth in its underlying Transactions business (beyond the 2023 top 3 corridors).

It is anticipated that Gross Income will continue to rise in the second half due to seasonal volume uplifts, new products, and network and geographical expansion, creating higher operating leverage in H2.

Hood I made a good profit on this years ago, when it first rose on it's covid news.
I bought and sold on the same day.
Everything that was connected to that rose at the time.
I came back, sure, hoping to get a profit again, but when I saw the good work they could do.
Despite the knowledge they were short of cash, as time went on, I decided it was a company worth fighting for!
It is now at a much better stage with it's products but the general economic back drop isn't.
Does that mean that these products ought to binned or some bigger firm get the benefit?

No!

If GDR can realise it's goal....NICE approval even US accreditation then these horrible posters will be begone.

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is used to classify each sentence across 14 sustainability-related topics for specific pre-trained model usage. These BERT-based models are subject matter expert-trained on issues such as climate change and human rights.

LA-based based Climate Emergency Fund donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to activists.
Donations to CEF come mainly from wealthy individuals and family foundations. The fund was started with a $500,000 donation from Aileen Getty, the granddaughter of Jean Paul Getty whose petrochemical empire made him the world’s richest man, a source of some controversy in the climate activist world.

Adam McKay, the producer and screenwriter behind the climate change satire Don’t Look Up, had just donated $250,000, “particularly inspired by Just Stop Oil, Scientist Rebellion and other civil resistance”, Salamon said.

Concerns have been raised about the funding of direct action groups by wealthy individuals.

Salamon said she was aware of concerns around “capitalist corruption” but she insisted that the CEF did not demand its grantees tone down their protests or critique. She pointed out that Scientists Rebellion had explicitly called for economic de-growth. Other groups have targeted banks and corporations.

Just Stop Oil is one of 106 climate change activist organisations funded by CEF, which itself is primarily funded by wealthy individuals and family foundations.

It was started with a $500,000 donation from Aileen Getty, the granddaughter of Jean Paul Getty, founder of the Getty Oil Company. Ms Getty’s family ties to oil have caused some controversy, but she has never been involved with the industry herself.

During the Montreal conference, Ali Borhani, Managing Director of 3Sixty Strategic Advisors Ltd and co-founder and host of the BRI Dialogues, put the expanded trading bloc into perspective and noted that people have to recognize that the world has changed.

“Half of the world population is in BRICS+. Two-thirds of world trade happens in BRICS+. BRICS are adding 74 million consumers a year. That is two times Canada out of these markets,” Borhani said during the panel discussion.

“The largest buyers of energy and the largest sellers of energy happen to be in the Global South and among BRICS. So we're looking at the rewiring of energy, finance, supply chain, and tech.”

Because of these broad-reaching geopolitical shifts, it is fairly easy to make a simple case for gold as a global currency. Many analysts have noted that gold remains the best neutral asset to settle trade imbalances.

So it's not just China that is going to have to buy more gold; nations around the world, especially those in emerging markets that have relied so heavily on the U.S. dollar, will have to rebuild their gold reserves.
