Well I don't know what to think.
I have always thought it is a mistake to let institutions get too big, or have too much power.
What was he UK thinking?

It should be horribly obvious to anyone reading this that the reach of power our government are handing to WHO in May extends far beyond ‘pandemic preparedness’.
Conflict, investment,
gender ideology, anti micro resistance, climate change are all going to be under WHOs umbrella. They can say there is a threat (which they always do) and every signatory will be bound to their commands LEGALLY. The UK are one of those signatories. Our unelected PM agreed to the control of an elected group without even debating it in Parliament.
It’s a blatant COUP!

An important point in this transformation deals with the ethics involved in the use of AI. Will it truly and objectively be used to increase efficiency in education and the workplace? Or will it be weaponized to use against one’s adversaries? I’m of the more optimistic camp, but we may first go through a period of testing, after which new laws and policies will be put in place to safeguard the destructive and possibly harmful use of AI.

At the request of the United States and Canadian governments, a trade dispute panel has rescinded an invitation to Canadian non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to submit official comments in the dispute under the Canada-US-Mexico Trade Agreement (CUSMA) over Mexico’s phase-out of genetically engineered (genetically modified or GM) corn.

“We’re extremely concerned that the US government requested we be blocked from commenting but even more concerned that the Canadian government wrote to support this silencing,” said Lucy Sharratt, Coordinator of the Canadian Biotechnology Action Network, one of the two organisations in Canada that had been granted leave to submit written comments. “We’re disappointed that we’re no longer permitted to provide our research and arguments directly to the dispute panel.”

Chipmaker Nvidia (NVDA) is set to release a new gaming processor with slower performance in China to meet U.S. export restrictions. Nvidia said it worked closely with the U.S. government during the development of the new Nvidia RTX 4090D, which has 11% fewer processing cores than non-Chinese models. Nvidia shares dropped after the company's third-quarter earnings release had analysts concerned about the impact of the export restrictions.
