The second 7% is only on 8% of the total so not quite
as high as you mention but better than 1.5% in the building societies.

I have gvc, aly and hgm at the moment others receive dividends but nothing
like those three. ITV based on the value I bought is good though.

Waiting for lam and bpty to recover and join the club.

Sounds like a plan.

What sort % are you chalking up, per year... 15%?

I just reinvest my dividends into the next one due, and
so on and on, a gvc dividend will go into aly, gain
8%, then paid out, it then goes into the next maybe
hgm, gains a 7% dividend and on.

It works for me maybe not for anyone else.

Srp, the dividend is impressive but the growth is as flat as a pancake? Why would You want to move your gvc money here?

Bought more today, I do not want a takeover, just a growing share price
and yield.

If not needed if bought out find a new position beforehand.

I would also have thought they would be free to deal, in what otherwise, would be a "closed" period.

Yes quite right it could be 1 plus 1 = 3, but
generally when a bid is being put together people
at the company know first and they position themselves accordingly.

If not needed if bought out find a new position beforehand.

spractive,

Not sure how these resignations point to a bid.

However, agree, it must be on the cards.

Then when they move they drop the bid and offer, just
so at the close of business they can push a trade at 25p
to ensure it is unchanged.

You have to laugh.

Thank you for the big dividend mm's, the longer you
keep it down the more I buy for dividend income.

Yes, here for the divi myself, bid would be a bonus I guess (or not, as the case maybe)

30p, that is why they are keeping it in the mid 20's for so long,
a premium of 20% might be accepted.
I was hoping for 36p, last year when share price was buffeting around
29-30p.

Just glad the dividends are so good, do not really want a bid.
