02/10/2013 13:42 | The October publication, WHI SPY mentions Ashley House in it article on 10 Attractive AIM stocks with the comment "Recovery play and low valuation". They say there has been a significant increase in interest in many companies listed on the junior market of the London Stock Exchange due to their eligibility for ISAs. Maybe we could see the shares trade around 30p in the short term. Jonathan Holmes, Chief Executive purchased £99,000 worth of shares in Ashley House a few years back at 30p, which should give an indication of what the directors think the company is worth. | first_things
01/10/2013 18:47 | "The government has announced today it is handing out £122 million to build homes across the country to help older and disabled people live independently." hxxp://www.insidehou | first_things
30/9/2013 17:52 | Nice, just seen that. Let's hope they get to exercise them soon. | greenroom78
30/9/2013 17:50 | Isn't 37p the broker target too? Issued at a tad over the share price at the AGM date. CR | cockneyrebel
30/9/2013 17:33 | Wonder what second part is | the ghost who walks
30/9/2013 16:42 | That's a lot of options, so extremely interesting threshold price is at 37p. They obviously think they are going to make a lot of money! | adam
30/9/2013 16:04 | If Carling did options..... ;-) | mr dexy
30/9/2013 15:50 | Director options RNS: . " The options, which have an exercise price of 15p (which was approved at the AGM) will not be exercisable unless and until the Company's share price equals or exceeds 37p for a period of at least 20 consecutive working days and upon exercise is at or above the 37p threshold." 29/9/2013 14:40 | Ashley House has built up an Extra Care Pipeline of £128 million over the past couple of years, a market set for growth due to the changes in demographics (more old people) and the fact most people want to maintain their independence. It's quite an unusual business due to the earning visibility, which looks increasingly strong over the next 2-5 years. If any further contracts are announced within Extra Care housing the upside looks very interesting. WH Ireland have forecast earnings this year of 2.3p, so a PE of 12 (conservative given growth prospects and potential dividend yield) would equate to a share price of 38.4p. I will be watching with interest. "Outlook The Board is optimistic about the progress already made although much of the growth will be realised in subsequent years as the new schemes pass the relevant stages for revenue recognition." | first_things

26/9/2013 16:09 | Only forecast I've found is WH Ireland 25th June for 3.2p this and 3.8p next year. So purely on a P/E basis quite cheap. The value of the LIFT assets remains a mystery to me after quite a long look! | eezymunny
26/9/2013 09:11 | At last the market is recognising the value in this company. They have very experienced management and advisors. Having survived the downturn and the state of stasis imposed on the health care industry by NHS 'reforms' an opportunity has presented to be a leader in high quality construction of housing for elderly people needing an element of care. Within its ranks there are professionals with much experience of this sector. A very carefully run outfit. Been in for ages and nice to see a healthy recovery. | irenekent
