Jeremy Rance - Group COO - appointed to the Board

Ashcourt Rowan Plc (AIM: ARP), the wealth management group, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Board with the appointment of Jeremy Paul Rance (48), the Group's Chief Operating Officer, as an Executive Director of the Company.

Jeremy joined Ashcourt Rowan as Director of Planning in June 2010, where his role included leading the negotiations on the acquisition of the Co-op Independent Financial Adviser business in October 2010. He was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the Company in January 2011 to focus on strategy and planning, operations, IT, HR, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

Jeremy's previous positions were in senior leadership, operational and strategy roles at AMP, KPMG and Barclays Corporate Bank. At Barclays, he was Regional Director for Eastern Region focussing on the mid corporate segment and subsequently led the National Retail and Wholesale Team which was responsible for providing all round banking services to this sector. In total Jeremy has spent 25 years in Financial Services, holds an MBA from Henley and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
