As announced on 27 July 2021, the following Directors of Ascential plc (LSE: ASCL.L) subscribed for the following numbers of ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") as part of the placing (the "Placing"):

Duncan Painter's interests in ordinary shares did not change as a result of the granting of this security.
